I guess if we don’t win another in the next five years, this one will be revoked. Let the paint dry on this one before talking about the future. It’s the only negative he could come up with so he took his shot.

I called all of this way before Herbstreit and others noticed it after the game. O has no control. Burrow made that very clear the way he reacted to O during the game

That's what separates Bama from LSU. Losing more than 1 game is a disaster to Alabama, whereas it's average for LSU.
You don't get any indication they can or want to repeat.

Poor Herbie, he's so used to programs doing it the right way...Alabama wins championships, and then puts their heads down and gets right to work.

LSU is nouveau riche. Alabama is generationally rich.

Alabama is the Rockefellers. LSU is the lottery ticket winners from the trailer park who goes bankrupt, has the IRS after them and has a coke habit in less than a year.

we just had a better season than Bama has ever had in their entire history

Herbie is disingenuous with his Clemson argument. They will be back and a pre season top team bc they play no one and aren't expected to lose with such a soft schedule. They are a good team but are lots of other teams that play real competition.

Oklahahoma,OSU and Clemson haven't made multiple appearances by playing particularly tough schedules but by benefiting from not playing then. Clemson and OSU fielded teams good enough to win the finals but they didn't get there by playing stout competition.

Bama is the only one of those that have gone multiple times built the way he describes. The others are reaping favorable harvests.
