The contrast between the alternating bands denoting a change in topic is not as clear as it is in light/default mode.

I tried out the dark mode for a little while and thought it was difficult at times to see the posted by name and team affiliation. Takes a little longer to identify the poster than it does in light mode.

I did like the alternating colors between posts. Maybe a light dark and dark alternating scheme, kind of like Lolo Jones/Naomi Campbell.

I wonder if there’s any way LSU could switch to dark mode unis? That Yella and Purple can get a little harsh on the eyes after 3 hours.

Looks much better. The only tweak I would suggest is using a dark grey (something like #121212) instead of black. Dark grey provides more depth and elevation from a UI perspective. 100% contrast can cause eye pain and makes the text more difficult to read.
