Show me proof that they’re merely relaying information.

In order for that to hold any weight, you'd need to show proof the rule came directly from Ole Miss.

I suppose that will go into discovery when you and JudgeHolden file your suit.

LINK

I’ll help you again as I’ve already done in previous posts.

quote:

OXFORD — Ole Miss athletics announced in an email sent to students Sept. 17 that fans supporting LSU would not be allowed into the student section for Lane Kiffin's return in Week 3.

"Effective immediately, no person wearing an opposing team's gear or colors will be allowed entrance into the student section," the email said. "Additionally, anyone found to be wearing opposing team apparel or colors in the student section will be removed."

Just take your L and move on.

You seem to think that means something.

It does not.

That's not a cogent response. What do you think that means, exactly?

Upvotes and downvotes aren’t getting you anywhere and neither is your dribble.

1. I haven't up or downvoted any of your posts

2. Still not a cogent argument

My argument is cogent. Maybe not to you because you’re arguing in theory.

You haven't even made an argument.

You just keep posting an email and going "take the L"

Even though several people have explained why there is no 1st amendment argument to be made here.

Do the work.

I’m not going to go back and quote all of my posts. You’ve chosen to ignore what you don’t like.

So far your argument has been that email, which is not an argument, and that the second time I wrote 501c3 I wrote 5013c.

I dunno, man, I think you can do better. I'm not sure, but I really do hope you can.

No bud. My argument is that a public institution CAN be sued for a 1st amendment infringement. For some reason you keep saying that a public institution DID NOT make the statement in that email. Furthermore, you’re theorizing that the private entity directed said public entity to make that statement via email even though there isn’t a damn thing in this universe that shows or even insinuates that.

Everyone knows that the private entity OWNS THOSE SEATS but that has nothing to do with the issue at hand.

A. We agree on. Good.

B and C go hand in hand. You didn’t have to split them up.

They're contradictory.

You're accusing me of both claiming they didn't send that email (I didn't) and that I claimed they "directed" the public institution to send it (I didn't).

And? If the organization running an event sends the owner some rules and said owner relays those rules to the students, that is not inherently "directing" them.

This happens almost every time a band rents out a school's stadium or auditorium for an event.

I think you should stop arguing about things you know nothing about and go focus on Auburn. The whole rule is ridiculous. If an LSU student was over there, he’s going to cheer for his team regardless of the color of his shirt and if an Ole Miss student wants to fight him because of it, then a cop can easily remove the Ole Miss fan. It’s not going to matter the color of his shirt. Sounds like a bunch of Pansies to me that can’t handle the competition sitting next to them. fricking ridiculous! Regardless, I doubt an LSU fan would want to sit over there unless that’s his only way to get a ticket.
