But if not, he lost to UGA bc they were overwhelmingly the better team and he lost to the cocks bc they dropped 63 on them and could’ve dropped 77 if Tennessee actually kept pace to make it a game.

Bennett would have been worst Heisman winner since Troy Smith based on stats. It’s clearly an award of best player on best team.

In the Tennessee game,
Stetson Bennett was challenged to protect the ball and play more conservative (like hendon).
Hendon was challenged to throw the ball despite confusing coverages and pressures (like stetson).
Hendon held the ball too long (unlike Spencer Rattler and Bo Nix) and got sacked 6 times. He still threw a pick. The key to beating UGA isn't a scrambling QB who is straining to reach 1st downs (12 nonsack rush attempts for hendon to 33 pass attempts).
The key to beating UGA is getting the ball out (LSU 52 pass attempts, Miss St 52 pass attempts, Florida 37 pass attempts).
LSU had 2 INTs and was sacked 4 times. But the QBs were getting the ball out in time.

He’s completing 69% of his passes this year. His last year at Tech he was completing 65% of his passes. He’s has a 67% career completion % at Tech and UT. Heupel just fine tuned him and made him better. He was already pretty accurate.

I am a homer.. but Max Duggan should have won it. His 4th quarter alone in the big 12 championship game was phenomenal. He ran for 91yards alone, beaten and bloodied!

I really think they should have taken the year off. Frankly, I don't think any of them had a Heisman type year.

Max Duggan or Stetson Bennett. I do think however the guy from USC will make a better qb in the NFL than the other 3.
