We're actually better at longer kicks than shorter ones. Cause, Alabama kicking.
And yes I chose to ignore the obvious meaning of your post.

We can still brag about legit Heisman winners. Ingram winning when he had 5 games with less than 100 yards was a joke.

Do you think 2010 Auburn would still be undefeated going into the IB without Cam?
No.
But Cam also didn't win the 2010 Iron Bowl for Auburn.
Nick Fairley did.
Without the fumble and recovery he caused and made Auburn loses that game.
Plain and simple.

Pat Sullivan's passer ranks the year he won the Heisman
Completion % : 9th
Pass Yards : 6th
Pass Yards Per Attempt : 19th
Passing TDs : 2nd
Passer Efficiency : 8th
Basically the 7th or 8th best QB in the country. Totally legit. Not a joke at all.

They should give the Heisman to Jalen because the Bama fans were so mean to him and no one had any right to bench him.

Different time and you know it. 200 yard passing games were an accomplishment. The standard for RB has always been 100 yard games. Has a Heisman winning RB ever had that many sub 100 yard games ?

I'm not comparing his numbers to present day. I'm comparing them to other QBs DURING THAT SEASON.
He ranked 7-8th or worse in basically every passing category, including passer efficiency which is the best overall measure.
That's not comparing him to Tua and Cam and Tebow, that's comparing him to QBs in 1971.

I will tell you this, Alabama would trade both of their Heisman awards for one more National Title
Literally every program in the country would do the same if given the opportunity

So stat rankings are your criteria. I bet Christian McCaffrey wished you were a voter.

That was kind of the point homeslice. You talked about players from Alabama not being deserving due to stats, me countering that 1 of your Heisman winner wasn't deserving based on stats.
So, you can pick. Sullivan and Ingram were deserving or the stats disqualified them.

So that means both Bama RBs won due to popularity. Because Christian McCaffrey had them all.

No he didn't.
Derrick Henry
Rush Yards Per Game : #2 (McCaffrey #3)
Total Rush Yards : #1 (McCaffrey #2)
Rushing TDs : #1 (McCaffrey #91)
Yards From Scrimmage Per Game : #8 (McCaffrey #1)
Total TDs from Scrimmage : #1 (McCaffrey #41)
Total TDs : #1 (McCaffrey #30)
The only category McCaffrey was better than Henry is was total yards from scrimmage per game and "all purpose yards" which is a silly thing to tack on anyway because you get an automatic 15 yards every time you return a kick.
Henry certainly wasn't coming in 7th or 8th amongst running backs in Rush Yards, TD runs, Rush Yards Per game, etc like Sullivan was with QBs.

Why are we arguing about Heisman Trophies.
It is Basketball Season.

Bama had one its best Saban teams last year and lost to Auburn by double digits.
The rivalry is fine, a fact you will be reminded of Saturday.

The team that Auburn beat was absolutely not. They would have finished the year 12-2 with no national title and lopsided losses to Auburn and Georgia.

Oh I agree. You will be reminded that the rivalry is very much alive and well on our end. You guys may be moving on to basketball, but our guys haven't.
