Mendoza, Pavia, Love, Sayin named Heisman Trophy finalists

If I had a vote it'd probably be Pavia but at the same time I hope he doesn't get it just to hear him howl

My expectation in Mendoza though

But it wouldn't surprise me to see Love get it as a make-up call for being (rightfully!) left out of the Playoffs

Mendoza is -2000 and Pavia is +950, Love and Sayin are moonshots. Ceremony is a formality

Honestly, none of them have stat sheets that jump off the page. Outside of Pavia all played very weak schedules

Can we just skip this award this year?

Can you imagine Pavia's numbers against Mendoza's schedule though?

Notre Dame should never be allowed to have a Heisman finalist ever again after they purposely lied, covered up and told that knucklehead player of theirs to continue lying about a fake girlfriend with cancer in the hopes that it would land him a Heisman Trophy out of sympathy

It’s not near as bad as Penn State covering up child rape to protect the football program

But it’s pretty damn bad when your a D and head coach sit down with the player and say hey look don’t tell anybody that you found out that your girlfriend is a fake and that there is no girlfriend and that girlfriend doesn’t have cancer, keep telling everybody that story and you might get a Heisman out of it

Notre Dame didn’t get drug through the mud and didn’t get publicly shamed for this near enough

I dont think Pavia's numbers would be any better. Mendoza played better defenses than Pavia did, OSU, Oregon and Iowa are all top 10 nationally. Im glad they gave Vandy Iowa as their bowl opponent, will provide a common foe opponent. Too bad its after the heisman is already voted on

This is impossible I was told that 2 Bama players would make it.

Why is Sayin there?

Does Ohio State have some kind of influence over the Heisman Trophy Committee?

I know. Mateer should have become spokesperson for Warby Parker, get more name recognition . . . oh wait, I guess that doesn't work either.
