Take James off. He has like 229 yards but just broke his arm

will repeatedly get trucked by T-Rich on 11-5-2011 which will essentially lock up the Heisman for Him. A Bama Player wins the Heisman twice in a 3 year time frame while we win our 2nd BCSCG in as many years!

T-Rich Honey Badger

If by Tyrann Mathieu, you mean Russell Wilson, I agree.

The fact that Luck is ahead of Griffin shows how worthless the trophy has become. I don't watch the ceremony and really don't give a damn about it anymore.

People gotta just get it in their head that this trophy is for the best player out of all QBs, RBs, or occassionally WRs. Not the best player. Once you understand that, it won't upset you so much.

The Heisman is usually given to the best player on a team competing for the title. Case in point:

2010 - Cam Newton (Auburn)

2009 - Mark Ingram (Alabama)

2008 - Sam Bradford (Oklahoma)

2006 - Troy Smith (Ohio State)

2005 - Vacant (I mean Reggie Bush USC)

2004 - Matt Leinart (USC)

2003 - Jason White (Oklahoma)

2001 - Eric Crouch (Nebraska)

2000 - Chris Weinke (Florida State)

1997 - Charles Woodson (Michigan)

1996 - Danny Wuerffel (Florida)

1993 - Charlie Ward (Florida State)

1992 - Gino Torretta (Miami)

Only 6 times in the last 20 years has a Heisman Winner NOT played for the national championship

Stupid defensive bias, suh should have won his year, and Tyrann should at least be in the top 5 this year so far.

Many of the people I talk football with have lost respect for the Heisman. If I voted right now, RG3 would be getting my vote, but because he's at Baylor, he will never be seriously considered due to their upcoming losses.

It's going to be a close race this year it seems.

If he keeps it up and makes a couple of game changing plays against Alabama and again in the SECCG, I could see Honey Badger getting an invite.

Meanwhile, back on planet Earth, I'm really looking forward to watching Bama kick the shite out of Boise in the Sugar Bowl. Little Nicky's gonna put those tater-frickers in their place.

Screw that guy. He does nothing but run fast and get tackled easily.

Disagree strongly. In the 2009 season, the best player in the country was Toby Gearhart from Stanford.
