re: Anyone know Chandler Rome?

He's great.
He is very good at his job. [I live out of market] So he actually gives me news; aka he isn't an LSU cheerleader that is going to bend every single story.

Gotta love the people on here who will whine, call him out, and say they don't care what he does....yet know so much about him. Hmmm

NOLA.com Jimmy Smith Predictions - Final 7

Key
Dillon
Gibson
Hill
Dugas
Anderson
Lewis

Makes LSU 292 score on 247

This is my Christmas [in January] list. I'd be shocked, but hey..
Tbh, Holton Hill was completely out of my mind, so thanks for that, Jimmy

I agree. He wasn't exonerated of wrong doing. There isn't reason to celebrate. Sure be glad if you want for him being back on the team. It is still unfortunate that it has brought so much bad press to LSU and their football program.

^this..

Misdemeanors are not major crimes.

and my fault for not clarifying..
i have no idea exactly what crimes are misdemeanors or not..
i mean its major in the sense of national perception & more importantly, its major to me if he isn't able to be wearing #33 and running all over the big 12 defense that TCU has
quote:

but these are 2 major arrests No. They aren't. That's why reasonable people aren't outraged by this.

anything of a sexual & battery nature are more than just a petty issue.
college kids usually don't get charges outside of underage drinking and such..

how can you say that they are nothing when he's probably gonna be SUSPENDED for some games this year-- that makes it major to me..
while i am usually all about a bash-fest, how could yall think this is uncalled for....

i mean i still think that hill is a beast on the field, but these are 2 major arrests now on his record (that shed a bad light on our program)..

i don't think that he deserved a coming back party, with the reveille there to praise him...

Really dude?

   i found it funny that they had a .01 second difference, so you know i had to add that...

and jackson was at the opening and has camped at other schools this summer too
Gonna be Lewis Neal.. There's a DE Spot for the taking

Please check T. Alexander's 40 time from the NFTC! How many defensive back from the West Coast come to the SEC? And please review your list of over hyped Cali kids that have failed to live up to expectations in the SEC.

mrbossier

why would you do this to yourself??

Alexander ran a 4.45 at the NFTC
A.Jackson is a 4.44 guy..

it even lists that stuff at the top of their 24/7 profiles!
Jackson 247
Alexander 247

ETA: and i know that Alexander comes from a big time high school program/competition, but Jackson comes from an equal setting (Junipero Serra HS).
And yes, there are always overrated Cali kids, but Jackson has proved it at National Showcases.

i too refuse to even click on the link just because it gives bleacher report a hit on their site

How is T. Alexander too small when we're still recruiting Adoree' Jackson?

because Adoree' Jackson is 1,000,000 times better/ more athletic.

Alexander is a good athlete, but A.Jackson is one of the most athletic/fastest kids in the entire 2014 class-- that more than makes up for his lack of height.
If we offer a Curtis DB, it'll be Mattrell McGraw.

He's 2 inches taller than Alexander, plus, he's just better IMO.

Mattrell McGraw 247

do yall think that we'll still use a scholly in this class for a FB if someone like trey granier makes the switch to FB?
quote:

Do I think he is a great talent yes, but starting right now is a little out there. I think he could contribute right now, but not start.

this.
paris is going to be great but it takes a lot of learning in a chavis defense

while an upgrade would be nice, LSU by no means has sub-par facilities

it seems like a lot of these in state guys look elsewhere for a while & get wide-eyed, but as the process closes down they realize they kind of want to stay close to mom
quote:

"It's not official yet until me and my mom and uncle go down there to see the academic side of things," he said. "It will probably be sometime next week because my team is competiting in the national 7-on-7 tournament this week in Hoover."

a quote from him on an Geaux247 article posted an hr ago...

why would that make him decommit from lsu??!
