LSU is not pristine none of the “big six” programs are unblemished. I wish it weren’t so but it is. Maybe this sell their likeness new rule will help curb some of the tomfoolery. Maybe players can start their own go fund me’s and the casual fan can put their income where their fandom is.

Because THEY had NOTHING on LSU basketball. The recording never came up in trial, therefore it’s not part of public records and the NCAA can not get ahold of it.
Besides, they can’t prove what “strong arse offer” means. We can speculate what it means, but you can’t definitively say “strong arse offer” means “a shite load of money”.
Of course, none of us have listened to this tape either so it could be something or it could be nothing.
