Bucky has never lived outside of the Bham metro. Will be interesting to see how it works out. If he can get it going, will be a crazy story

Not gonna lie... I'm salty about this one. I want him to replace BP when he finally hangs it up.

I've know Bucky for 25 years, he's gonna be top tier in the next 5 years. Mark my words.

A&M had that QB from Baton Rouge in the late 80's/early 90s named Bucky Richardson. My grandpa would take me to Bucky's high school games when I would visit him.

A&M also has that alumni who owns Buccees gas stations who donates millions of dollars to their business school.

I guess Bucky is a lucky name for A&M.

Most Aggies are realistic. Guy is young and runs the same offense as most NBA teams and hopefully he gets enough NIL to recruit.

If this Coach doesn't work, we'll pay him off and get a new one.

Nobody was crying when Buzz and his boring style left and another worn out retread would have been very unpopular.

Nothing like the gomers sour grapes after a coach bolts for a better job, location and lifestyle. Why do not the gomers just have Klan robes for their warmup clothing and make it official?

Never heard of him, but it sounds like he’s had some success at smaller schools.

Hopefully his style is to really develop some great shooting. Especially FY shooting. I liked Buzz as a coach, but FT shooting was a limitation that really hurt us. His teams were always just winning ugly.

He won 4 or 5 state championships at 7A Mountain Brook with a bunch of spoiled rich white kids so I know the guy can coach.

High school or not, The guy took an average program and turned it into a powerhouse. There were times when he played just about every person on the roster, pressed the entire game, and frustrated better teams into losing. No idea how this will turn out but this isn’t the gamble people are claiming.
