Penn st is still an option

However I think he stays put and gets his arse kicked by Miles and LSU next year.

Heard this again today and wanted to bump the post. Said that Jerry offered $10 million to Saban. Anyone else hear this?

This same garbage was posted over on the Auburn Scout site:

Except the poster claimed he heard it on the radio in Chattanooga. And even the most deluded Barners didn't buy it.

I'm thinking you are repackaging bullshite.

If the money is right, I think Saban would take the Cowboys job. That is the premier job in all of football. America's team. A chance to add a Super Bowl ring to his national title.

If Alabama wins in January, I think the odds of this happening will increase greatly.

He can always come back to the college game whenever he wants, so why not do it?

If you weren't too dumb to understand the concept of "political capital", I would explain to you why your thought is never going to happen.

Agree totally. He is at Bama as long as Bama will have him. Nick isn't leaving anytime soon.

it all about money to nick. i love him but won't be upset when he leaves. nick has to be able to instill comlete fear in players. jerry jones is just the manager who would let nick (of course with jerry close by)instill fear into these pompous millionaires. nicks contract would read that if you can me jerry, i will own half the cowboys! won't supprise me.

Sean Payton is a better NFL coach than Nick Saban

Yes, but anybody who honestly thinks the last 2 seasons would have ended any differently is fooling themselves.

Saban is not going anywhere. He is upper 50's, has a God like situation in TTown, and there comes a point in time where you don't want to start from scratch and keep re-building. He is there now.

nick will have 2 nc titles and never be in a stronger position-ever!! really!! i'm not kidding!! t-town is great but jerry jones could buy t-town and nick could put the star on the tree by bringing dallas back into prominence. sorry bama fans. dallas is alot bigger deal than the tide. i know, you say thats blasphemy but its true. kirby smart would make a great head coach. enjoy this championship, if jerry wants him, he's gone and there is nothing we can do about it

Don't hold your breath. I don't think any NFL organization wants Saban.

Saban, and most coaches, go where the salary is highest, and I really can't hold that against anyone.

Being a Dolphins fan, I saw first-hand what a massive fail Nick Saban was in the NFL.

Culpepper over Brees? Give me a fricking break.

He'll stay in college football because no NFL team wants his arse. College is what he's good at.

Jerry Jones says he's looking for a coach in his 40's. Besides, Jones has to be in control and he's not giving it up to anyone. Therefore, of all the possible jobs where "Saban's name was mentioned," the Dallas job is the most ridiculous.

Most of these so called "rumors" are just rank speculation by scared rival fans. Proving the old adage that hope springs eternal. That's true more today than ever for some fans of eleven SEC teams.

Just for clarity's sake, Saban took a pay cut of over a million dollars per year to become Alabama's head coach. Of course, he's still making gracious plenty.

If Jerry Jones wants him, Saban will leave and go to Dallas, no matter how Jones runs the organization. Alabama cannot outbid Dallas. With that said, you have nothing to worry about, Dallas doesn't want him, even if Saban were in his 40's.

There's a 60% chance of this happening. Jerry needs another Jimmy Johnson and that is exactly what Saban is. The MIami debacle still bugs the shite out of Saban. The Dallas job would be just the opportunity to resolve this nagging failure on his career. If Jerry hired the Big Tuna then hiring Saban he can handle. I don't think Saban will be able to turn down the offer if it comes. Besides, the shopping in Dallas is just a tad better then Tuscaloosa for Mrs Saban.
