I think Stoops and Pittman are 1A and 1B.
Freeze prob next
I really like what Napier was able to do. I thin he's taken the slower path than Heaped, but I feel like what he is doing is sustainable.

All depends on the win total for freeze. I don’t think he needs to make playoffs but he will need 10 wins including bowl game. I think he’s in trouble with anything 7 and under. 8 wins probably could be included in the trouble category.

I have no doubt our base will call for a change at 9 wins and under but not sure PTB would be ready to payoff another coach. Although I don’t remember but I think Freeze buyout is not huge.

Arkansas will do whatever they can to keep him around.

Unless he has a losing season, he will stay as long as he wants.

Kentucky problem is they live or die on whatever transfer portal qb they bring. Before vandergriff the last 2 were solid as hell. I don't remember the last qb that started for kentucky that they actually recruited and landed. It's not impossible but it's certainly challenging
This has pretty much been a problem the entire Stoops tenure.

I'd add in Brent Venables. 73% blue chip ratio and sits at 6-6 in his 3rd year. Yikes!

Mark Stoops absolutely is. How did you nor put him on your list OP. It's do or die in 2025 for this staff.
make or break I don’t mean the same as hot seat

Stoops has had 10 win seasons before and he doesn’t seem poised to have another breakthrough season next year but will have to do much better than he did in 2024 in 2025 to be back in 2026

He just won’t have to win 10 games to do that

But it might be to the chagrin of UK fans that he could survive another 8 win season if he gets it

That could open a spot at FSU for somebody like Lane Kiffin.

When you put it like that, it makes it seem he is doing a bad job.

Unfortunately, he is most likely safe next year barring a complete collapse.

He's on the hot seat with this fanbase. If you didn't know that then you haven't been paying attention to what's going on here in Lexington.

What’s a complete collapse? Less than 7 wins? You think he needs to get to 8 wins or it could heat up?

Lol I get it, no worries. Couldn't tell you what is going in Gainesville right now. Napier was gonna get canned and now suddenly he's the savior.

Nah, Kentucky fans have a laundry list of gripes with Stoops. That's why I said it's make or break this year. His seat is pretty hot with BBN.
