Good luck to Lane if he ends up there.

Hope that YellaWood guy gives him a nice check before he goes to the booth after the boosters and fans chase him out in 3-5 years (max).

It's more of a retirement plan than a killer. The termination money anyone makes now is "go to hell" money.

I love it when fans of teams that are currently on a hot streak act like they are the gatekeepers of college football. It’s hilarious.

Didn’t they have fruitful careers after Georgia fired them?

Again, we've made the careers of our last 4 coaches not including Harsin. We've also given them generational wealth and some hardware. This narrative just ain't gonna hunt baw.

Don’t forget Richt’s super successful multi-championship Miami run!

Who knows?

His OP said Auburn was bad for coaches. Then the post you quuoted said the recent track record is good for coaches.

This Kiffin buzz has people here not knowing what to say. Same with some dumbass LSU poster who said he is a terrible hire for Auburn then claimed he isn't coming.

It's got folks worked the frick up. That's all I know.

Why is it a career killer? Fact is coaching there is usually the highlight of the coaches AU has hired. AU hasn't lost a coach to another program and the coaches who were fired and went to another school, never match their accomplishments at Auburn. Imagine hiring a coach who is in high demand and has P5 HC experience. TT is the only one and he dumb down their schedule because of their probation.

They both are quite wealthy. And all stayed at UGA for long periods of time. Goff - 7 years Donnan- 5 years and Richt- 15 years. Dooley was HC for 25 and then 15 more as athletic director. Georgia doesn’t fire coaches on impulse.

Tuberville was at auburn for 10 and Gus for 8. Chizik for 4. Do yon think firing a coach for losing every SEC game badly and losing total control of your team is an impulsive firing?

Tuberville- wealthy
Chizik - wealthy
Gus- really wealthy
Harsin- wealthy

Ray Goff makes more than Any coach in the SEC selling chicken. He has around 80 Zaxbys among 4-5 other franchise brands. Ironically he couldn’t beat the poultry, but he can sell the hayull out of it.

Donnan had a second career in Ponzi schemes and a third as a high school shock jock.

They both still live in Athens and I think Richt moved back too.

Currently I would say Nebraska or Texas hold that title.

So you agree Auburn isn’t any more of a career killer than Georgia?

All of our former coaches aside from Harsin are still coaching.
One of them is a Senator
