Mike Elko at Arkansas would be scary

Why? He will want a program that have good NIL set up to help recruiting. Arkansas isn't the one with that NIL set up.

That surprises me. Between Jerry and the Waltons I wouldn’t think NIL would be an issue.

They can get a billion 5 stars in basketball but no dice in football? That’s fishy

I think he will wait until one of the better football programs open up.

It's not fishy at all. Arkansas produces 5 stars in basketball as in-state talent. That's a pipe dream in football.

It isn't. NIL isn't the issue. Lefty's just talking out of his arse.

If The Waltons are serious hogs fans then it's puzzling to me why Arkansas doesn't have the best roster in the country. Also the Waltons make Jerry look like chump change.

Someone needs to take Coach O off the market.

Basketball isn't in the same league as football. More money coming from football and that is where most of the top football players go get paid big time. Arkansas doesn't have a big NIL as most top football programs get. Arkansas is in the worst location. Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi have their own homegrown players and have more of them than Arkansas. Arkansas is kind of like being squeeze from all side.

Several of the Walton family members went to Missouri. Maybe they aren’t huge Arky fans.

Hoping we keep this recurring class, can Napier, and snag Elmo before someone else does.

Arkansas has suffered 30 plus years of bad football.

No high level recruits want to come here much less visit.

I don't blame them.

They don't care for sports unless it deals with bike trails.

The Hunts and Tysons carry the load.

Arkansas has a much bigger brand in basketball and never fell into the abyss like football did.

They can average 8-4 each year.

But they keep making bads hires which puts them in rebuilding mode each time.

It began with Bert.

With Heath and Pelfrey and Mike's blank check, oh hell yes we did.

They should be. Lots of questionable decisions which land right in his lap.

In all fairness, they live in a state where half the counties are dry. Their ire is justified.

Are you really confused on why it’s easier to fill a 13 man roster verses 63?
