Rebelgator, there are just as many links out there that put Houston dining above those places.

Yeah, from Texas publications more than likely. I could probably find an article proclaiming Arkansas to not be full of meth too.

Texas has nothing on any of the cities I mentioned. The Michelin stars speak for me.

Brisket is the cheapest cut of beef there is. Ground beef is better than friggin brisket.

Well, you can go to hell, and I'll go to Texas.

I'm just saying, there are lots of places in Louisiana that ship.

My mom always gets me one shipped in as a family tradition. I hate to share it though because baby or not I have the only hookup.

Just the fact the sprinkle cakes exist and are everywhere dull my enthusiasm for it.

Actually, no--not Texas pubs.
I know you won't look, but many national publications rank Houston dining towards the top.
Somewhere along the line, you were done wrong bigtime by a Texan.
We may never be your favorite place, but perhaps we'll grow on you a little after awhile.

Michelin restaurants are always expensive. Houston is great for hole-in-the-wall type places. To get food as good as a 10 dollar Tex-Mex restaurant in Houston in NYC, you have to pay 100 bucks. Not kidding.

No shite.

That didn't like Texas before that though.

When Houston has anything on par with TFL, Per Se, or Le Bernardin I might revisit it. Luckily, it won't so I won't have to.

That is how you judge food?

Some of the best places in the world have no stars, have never been reviewed, and are known by those who live in the area.

Tacos A Go Go might be the best Mexican I've ever had. Only place that comes close is another hole in the wall in Minneapolis.

You're just full of Texas aren't you?

I can get street food in NYC that's not only as cheap, but better.

If you want to compare your food scene to the best, yes. In general no.

Houston is just a city with tunnels and tacos.
