Sark has underachieved. That losing streak was brutal last season. So many games we shouldve won and we pissed down our leg in the 4th Q.

Beamer has overachieved. He won more games last year than the previous two years combined. It's difficult to really explain just how bad Carolina was left by Muschamp/Bobo, as was evident with starting 4 different QBs last year.
That the Arkansas game last week was even remotely competitive in the second half is honestly pretty impressive. He's got a lot to learn regarding game day management, and he trusts some coaches more than he should, but we're, in all, pleased with how he's been.
He'll lose this weekend due to sheer lack of trenches, and that takes time to build. But he's been a great recruiter here in the past, and is showing to be doing well again, and I think you'll see some noise in years 3-4.
7-5 is likely ceiling this year, but even still, that's shitloads better than what he inherited.

Agreed, I think Josh has WAY over achieved at Tennessee and has y’all on a solid path.

Arkansas went into the fourth quarter 35-16. Arkansas wasn't trying to score anymore but run out the clock.
Arkansas left 17 points off the board. A missed field goal, an easy TD that was dropped in the end zone and a fumble recovery that had the defender not touched his knee to the ground would have been another TD.

Way too early to tell. Hawaii is a dumpster fire, and they gave up 31 points to Elon. A 20 point lost to Wake Forest doesn't signify improvement to me.

Nahhh, its obviously an extremely small sample size, but rolling out such an under prepared shite show on special teams against FSU cost us a win. Underachieved
It’s really dependent on what you think the W-L column for LSU should be this year.
If you think LSU is a 10-2 team this year, then yes, underachievement so far.
If you think LSU is a 7-5 team, then we’re on par.
If you think LSU is a 4-8 team this year, then we’re overachieving.

How so? 24 point loss to Florida, 28 point loss to Alabama, and 24 point loss to Georgia. Overachieving is winning one of those three. Beating Missouri and Vandy isn't overachieving, nor a 3 point win over Kentucky...certainly not WAY overachieving. Winning in OT at Pitt is nice, but I'd pump the brakes a bit.

I wasn’t crazy about the hire, to be honest
Nor was I. Especially after the first season. We lost 3 games we should have won, and looked terrible against Nichols St. I wanted all of them fired after the Vandy loss and that bonehead call Kirby made on 4th and inches that cost us that game. Season #2 made me a believer.

To be determined. 2 games in.

Billy Napier - On Par - Not much to judge by this point but he's also low on talent.
Brian Kelly - On Par - The loss to FSU was predictable but the way that LSU fought back to have a chance to win is a testament of wins to come.
Too soon to make any judgement on either.

I'd say last year, given his QB situation, he overachieved a bit. Year 2 seems to be on par so far.

I said remotely competitive in the second half. Carolina was down 21-16 with the ball late in the third.
What I said was accurate.

So Heupel didn't over achieve in year 1 with less scholarship players than any team in the country because he didn't beat either of the 2 teams that played in the National championship?
That sounds completely reasonable and like a well thought out, nuanced take.

I agree with way too early but I wanted to throw something out there.
