Well we did play in the SEC championship football game in 1995. Didn’t win but that one appearance in the 90s was one more than LSU had

2010- Auburn University
2011- University of Alabama

That's impressive but a bit one-dimensional

Not sure Arkansas can claim Bill Clinton post 1992. He left and never came back.

Same goes for Vince Foster.

Florida probably has a case between UF football, Miami Baseball, FSU football

or California. hate the state but So Cal was a good program then, and they play every sport. Tiger Woods is from there

Just going by sports, Louisiana had a damn good decade in the 2000's:
Three College Football NCs: 2003 and 2007 LSU, and I'm including Southern 2003 also. Different playing field and system, but they did win that system.

Sweet Sixteen and Final four for LSU

Two CWS titles: 2000 and 2009 LSU

Three peat for men's golf by LSU: 2002-04

Superbowl by the Saints: 2009

LSU women's Final Four : 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 (And then we got rid of Pokey for liking to eat Tacos. )

Read his book my life in the rough. I think that is the title.

Divorced five times, lost weight back in college by drinking whiskey and eating popcorn, burned money and lost a fortune at the casino in one night.

Nolan would beat the shite of Pitino. Nothing stopped him except his wife from chasing 6-9 330 pound Oliver Miller after eating food in the kitchen.
