The answer to the thread topic is No, imo.

LSU got hit very hard.

They will slowly reload, but I think 9-3 next year would be doing okay.

A lot of posters get giddy about the early departures because it is a chance for them to say, " He gone." Most likely they think the more guys who leave for the NFL is good for recruiting. Kind of makes a mockery of the student athlete moniker though.

Yep. We’ll go from beating y’all by 43 and showing mercy, to beating your arse (not the way you like) by just 2-3 scores

It will definitely be a challenge..now we get to see Coach I’d staying power. What can he do to reload?

His true measure is coming.

I’m rooting for him. I have confidence in him.

Only piece on offense I'm slightly worried about is qb. The skill players are still going to be insane with Chase, Marshal, maybe Moss, Mcmath, and Gilbert. The only spot on defense I'm slightly worried about is the lber's, but the rest of the defense is gonna be great.

If you do not think Brady was the difference in the LSU offense, you are weapons-grade level stupid. LSU fans wanted to fire Ensminger before he came!

Here's what I can tell you. Joe Brady brought in route concepts and formations from his experience with Moorehead and Payton. Here's what he didn't do:

1) He has never sat in a room and been responsible for coming up with a gameplan.

2) He has never worked with Burrow in practice. E and Munoz are responbile for Joe's development as stated by Burrow himself.

3) He wasn't the one breaking down defenses and diagnosing blitz packages. That was all Munoz.

LSU fans will be eternally grateful for Brady but let's not act like he rolled in to LSU and transformed everything all by himself. He was merely 1 part of the team responsible. It's going to be super interesting to see how he does in Carolina on his own.

He installed the offense and opened it up correct. He didnt call the plays. Are you saying it's impossible that the other coaches that worked with him everyday learned something?

Here is what I can tell you.

Brady was given assurances that he would be "the" OC in the near future, and Woodward was willing to push Ensminger out the door to make it happen.

Brady was basically the OC later in the season, as he took over more and more from Ensminger. However, Brady refused to give LSU assurances that he wouldn't pursue an NFL job, and he actually interviewed with several teams after the regular season.

Woodward realized that he would lose Brady a month or so ago, and wanted to make sure it wouldn't be to a college team. That's the best he could do

Brady will kill it in the NFL ...

Pretending like you have a source inside LSU's AD again? Did you ever list all those super secret DC jobs that Aranda was leaving for, or just stick to the ones that were already public knowledge?

My "source" is extremely close to Woodward. I know more about what goes on in LSU's AD than I do A&M.

My wife and I had dinner with Woody twice during the championship weekend. I think I might kind of have a better "source" than yours.

I'm happy for you. Chances are I actually know you then, but who knows. I try to filter the information I get from LSU - taking into account the "education" level of the state.

Plus, it's just fun to shove it in your uneducated faces. There isn't a fan base I disrespect more than LSU's. At least Texas has some education

We are going to break the Bama owned SEC record of 12 players drafted in one year. Maybe even break Ohio St's NCAA record of 14 players drafted.

Lying about having a “source” for internet cred.

Not trying to troll, just legitimately curious. Bama has been hit pretty hard in the past with coaching staff/player departures, but I don’t think we have a year that can top LSU’s eye-popping losses.

Our 2011 and 2012 teams lost an ungodly number of underclassmen. Coaching turnover wasn’t the same but the players lost was ridiculous

Your obsession with the state of Louisiana is weird.
