The UTx fanbase has been falling all over themselves praising him. At least they were up until the TCU/Arky/ND chain abortions.
As for the administration, Strong probably could have named his staff from whoever he wanted. Instead, he brought Watson along with him, and one game into the season, both Watson AND Wickline are demoted from OC.
Anyone looking at objectively at the 2015 season could tell that UTx was going to struggle, but however bare Mack Brown left the cupboard, there's still too much talent in Austin to be losing they way they are.
Strong doesn't even have to win this year to keep his job. He just has to have the horns looking respectable. I'm not sure that's going to happen, though.

I agree in a sense, but he's making too much money for me to feel sorry for him. He has plenty of resources at his disposal to prevent him from failing this miserably. I think he's a good coach, but this just isn't the right fit.

Then again, this is one of the best college football spoofs I've ever seen. It needs to be stickied for the rest of their miserable season
