whats laughable is how so many of you actually seem to think refs are either deliberately or intentionally giving alabama a first down on the first possession of a game against Ol Miss. What would be the point?

Exactly. What's the point?

It's crazy that y'all can't see that this spot is crazy. It's not a game changer or anything, of course, but it's just crazy. You frickers would be losing your minds on here if something like this happens in Tiger Stadium this year.

Congrats, Bobby Moore, you are the only one who is capable of thinking rationally about this
.

Except he wasn't given forward progress when he originally spotted the ball. The foot slide was awesome though.

Better to be a bitch and a girl and a bitch and a guy. And I'm not dumb. So you think the ball guy cheated? You don't even know your own coaches and the uniforms of your own players and you are trying to say someone cheated?

They're playing at bama, so all of the kids with footballs on both sidelines are from the home team

ETA: Anyone trying to argue that the ref didn't intentionally move the ball forward to award the first down, I really don't even know what to say. You can argue motive all you want, but you can't deny what the entire world can see in video.

Have you seen any other angles where the white pants aren't above the number on the field? Not saying you are wrong, but I see different angles all the time that give a better look at something.

Seems pretty ridiculous that people are calling a ref out for cheating when they don't have enough common sense to think that there may be a context for the spot.

It might have been a bad spot, but those happen all the time, and OM could have challenged it if they wanted to. That isn't the issue. The sidelines ref is clearly looking to the other refs as to where to put the ball, and he is looking at the yard markers behind him to see exactly where the yard marker was. Are refs not allowed to look behind them? You people are fricking kooky about this shite. It's pathetic.

He clearly can't see the grey football uniforms behind Ole Miss coaches talking to the officials.

He doesn't know his arse from his pussy.

I would just like an explanation from the SEC on obvious cheating. I'm afraid that because ole miss got beat pretty badly that this will just get swept under the rug.

A different view would be nice. I can certainly understand him moving it forward to match the Refs foot in the field. And, i can understand him looking back to the yard marker after he spots the ball to see if its a first down to move the chains, etc. But, he does the hokie shuffel and then looks back and then spots the ball. Which is all odd when put together.

Except he looks up THEN looks back at the marker and starts doing the Bama shuffle.

The shuffle is to let the other refs know that the fix is on.

I am still pissed that they did not give Bama a TD off this play, sure he was 50+ yards from the endzone, but we pay those refs a ton of money to help us win. I do not understand why they do not help out more, why do they flag us for a false start, or pass interference? They are calling way too many obvious penalties, and The Rec, and Slive needs to have a meeting with them, and stop the penalties.

Gotta love the Ole Miss guy who is accusing refs of being paid and can't even figure out which sideline is his.

Why am I not surprised that I log on today to find a Bamacessed LSU fan posting about conspiracy theories and officiating.

This has already been disproven with still photos yet you guys want to keep obsessing over it.

Why aren't Bama fans bitching about the bad call on the fumble that happened right after the interception by Lester. That bad call actually ended up giving Ole Miss 7 points.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...LSU fans...take off the hat.

Yeah, this is what happened...but it's still a funny gif.

I really hope the Alabama/LSU game comes down to a call by the refs that seals the win for Alabama because there is nothing on this earth more amusing than watching your fan base bitch about the officials.

Signed,

BUT BUT BUT IT WAS A CATCH BY WILLIAMS.

Indeed, good sir. Indeed.
