Well after last fall that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

The rivalry has always been about the football game(s). Half of their fans probably don't even know they have a basketball or baseball team. If anything ever has broken out at one of those games, its been over football.

I'm sure once football season kicks off they'll want the other to lose every game. Nothing wrong with that. But the disdain by some about any fan in the other school's colors will probably dwindle some.

Who granted Auburn relevance? You?

No way we would let a few dead trees or a little tornado get in the way of a good bitch session..

In my opinion, it will be more heated than ever.

There have been distractions. Auburn hates Alabama, but they're not going to show it after such a devastating thing like the tornado happened. Alabama hates Auburn, but most are sympathetic about the tree thing. With back to back championships it will be to the level of complete insanity when October/November comes around.

IB 2011 will require the National Guard to prevent total chaos

I didn't grant AU relevance. Their recruiting efforts the last couple of years and last year's NC did. IMO.

Now that Auburn has the BCSNC and 8 other lesser MNC and our third Heisman, it will continue to escalate.

If Auburn does get in trouble with the NZAA, many will blame the BAMMER lead media smear campaign.

I have no idea where this will stop and yes I was concerned before last season. The 2008 IB in ttown was the most hatred I have ever felt. The fans hated the 6 in a row. Now with spot 24, it will get uglier and the Updyke nation may ruin it for Auburn AND Alabama fans. Before that I always enjoyed the IB, the Alabama fans, and the environment. For the record I have been to 38 IBs

Other than Scott Moore's dumbass attempt to make a name for himself way after the the Cam shite came to light, how has the "Bama" media lead a smear campaign against au? Wasn't it ESPN who broke the original Cam story? Did the former au players get paid by Bama boosters or media to rat out au to HBO? Did Bama media ask the NCAA to ask questions regarding au recruiting in Louisiana? Did Bama lead media complain and subsequently get the original Tiger Prowl shut down? If anything media in this state has planted roots firmly in au's corner against any and all national media attacks.

We blame you. You rants andies will not change that b we firmly believe that Jody Wright, Cecil bhurt, fbaum and others have fanned the flames and feed information to SBB, the NYT, Evans, etc

You can argue all you want, but the Bammers will be blamed.

I'm tired of hearing about the tornado and I'm not even in the state of Alabama and I don't cheer for either team. I just pray that all will be well amongst the people struggling, but there's not much more we can do besides donate money for relief and give a helping hand.

And why does that mean it should just be forgotten about? Yesterday's news? It's a long process, and won't be over very soon. Those people who went through it shouldn't be thrown to the back pages. I'm sorry you don't want to hear about it any more, but continued press is the only way that things will progress at a decent rate.
