You mean the AGGIES came up with more money to pay of the refs than BAMA? I find that hard to believe.

you guys dont even know the rules you are just assuming that he broke them.
maybe he was just giving a signal to the deep snapper to snap the ball. jump to conclusions much?

Had we made the plays we needed to on the last drive we would have never been put into that position, so I fail to see the point of the OP.

That seems like the game of football. This happens more often than you seem to think. Watch more games.

Yeah, it's a gimmick, but I don't see how it's cheating. Fact of the matter is if Alabama hadn't turned the ball over three times, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Interesting observation - LSU fans seem more upset by this than Bama fans. I would suggest they feel threatened, but they would just scoff as if aTm isn't a real long-term competitor. Bammers seem a bit more clear-headed on the subject.

I can respect good play, good coaching and good teams.

If you get outsmarted by aggies, you deserve to lose.

Bama actually turned the ball over 4 times - the interception with the Aggies defensive back's toe touching down inbounds was somehow called an incomplete pass.
Totally bogus - lucklily it didn't affect the outcome of the game.

How in hell is A&M being dirty and affecting the integrity of SEC football? Aggies beat bamas arse by flat out outplaying them.

Rule is one foot in bounds not 1 toe. If he had dragged a toe across sure but he put his entire foot down and half of it was out of bounds.
Props to A&M played a hell of a game and deserved the W. Us Bama fans are well versed in pulling for November upsets to get us in the BCS title game so don't count us out yet!

Think your understanding of the rule is incorrect. This has come up before and you can't have half your foot oob or at least that was what was explained earlier in the season. That was not a missed call.

Don't waste your time trying to explain that concept to LSU fans.
They just don't get it.

I'm not downing aTm, but I will say this: if you want to be competitive long-term in this conference, that offense isn't the way to go about it. It relies too much on particular individual players, e.g. JFbs, which makes your entire fate hinge upon the health and mental clarity of one, maybe two, player(s). Unless you can recruit a JFbs every two years, it won't work as a program building strategy - see Tubberville's last year at Auburn; Myer/Tebow at Florida; Nutt's wildcat at Ark and UM, etc. Initial success based upon personnel, but disasters once those people were hurt or moved on.

While on the subject, is there not one football official in the SEC with balls enough to ever call offensive holding against Alabama? I am tired of screaming at my TV because for some reason, the refs can't hear me! Why doesn't Bama's LT just freakin tackle the DE and get it over with on every play and stop pretending he's not holding.

Barret Jones got called for a questionable hold.
Funny I don't remember A&M getting called for it either...
For whatever reason SEC refs don't call it very often even when it's painfully obvious.

Exactly. Seems the aTm receivers were doing a little of it too.
On the other hand, if you don't grab something, you really can't block anybody for any meaningful amount of time.
