Hines Ward
DJ Shockley
So yeah. Much sooner than Bama did. What a question. Tell me you're 19 or under without saying it.

James Jackson back in 1986. He threw a BEAUTIFUL 32 yard Pass 42 B Fly to his fullback David McCluskey in Tiger Stadium vs LSU that year. Before seeing him do that, I thought that play only existed in the old NFL Strategy Board game, which apparently Vince Dooley had studied.

For as much hate as Tennessee receives on this board, the Vols can claim the 1st black QB in the SEC. Condredge “The Artful Dodger” Holloway. He was also the first black baseball player as well. You want REAL racism? That guy should have played in the NFL. Ended up in Canada. His style reminds me of Fran Tarkenton and Archie Manning (yeah, I’m old).

Wrong answer

And the reason I asked this is because a friend of mine observed that Kirby Smart has had no regular starting black qb so uga hasn’t had to deal with a divided team, which some sources claim happened at Alabama in 2023 with Milroe. Anybody that watched the 2023 USF game, when several key linemen, receivers, and backs just coincidentally had bad games (Milroe was on the bench) might suspect it was true. Milroe blew up on the OC that week when informed he would not start. Saban retired end of the year.
Sadly, I think issues like this may be forthcoming with entitled players in this Brave New College Football World
