I've seen some tossed his name out on our boards. I can't imagine he'd take our job, for one, and I think we need to focus on an offensive minded guy this time around. We're never going to have an elite SEC defense but we can find the skill players and QBs to compete. It seems the smart play would be to go that route instead of another DC background like Bielema.

Even though he's terrifying to look at

I think this would be best also. What if Ark went for a triple option guy?

we will go with Leach, Fuente or possibly Campbell. If those fall through i fully expect it to be Venables.

I didn't search. I frequent the board pretty often and missed this one apparently.

No doubt multiple teams are looking at him but I would guess that Pruitt needs more time under Saban before he will be ready for a HC position.

He's won 3 national championships as a coordinator in some capacity and is a pretty damn good defensive coach. I just haven't seen him mentioned much because everyone is falling over their nuts to be the team that nabs Gruden.

Not sure he's quite ready. Plus, if I were TN, I'd want a proven winner from a legit school or conference. TN can't afford another "up and comer" like they thought they had with Dooley and Botch.

Why do Georgia fans want Pruitt in a HC job so bad? This is about the fourth thread on this from a UGa fan.
