Holy fricking shite. Sputnik was launched that autumn. That's how long ago that was.

Get it together, Aggies.

When was the last time you were #1, 1938?

Since 1978, there have been six games where the No. 1 team in the AP Poll was at least a touchdown underdog. Most recently, top-ranked Clemson was a 6.5-point underdog to No. 2 Alabama in the 2015 College Football Playoff Championship Game.

Notre Dame was a 10 point dog to Bama in the BCSCG.
Missouri was a 3 point dog to OU in the 07 B12CG.
We may have been dogs to FSU in 96.

It was a different sport in the 30’s. For all intents and purposes they never have been ranked #1, and they never will.

Can't say for sure as I don't pay much attention to those things but I would imagine when we were #1 in 2014 going into Alabama, we would have been an underdog.

Someone remind me what war we were in back then!

No wonder why we walk into Texas (Northshore) and take what we want!

2011 #1 LSU was +5.5 to +6 at Alabana...

How’d that go?

Yet Alabama won the BCS title game 21-0 in New Orleans, where LSU crossed the 50 once, for one play....
