Has nothing to do with the "easier opponent." I'm flat out telling you that you're wrong if you think that. OSU may very well be the easier opponent (no way to know for sure), making it convenient for you to say that, but that has nothing to do with the reason most LSU fans want OSU. Hell, if we want the easier opponent, LSU fans would be lobbying for VaTech or Houston.
LSU fans wanting OSU has little if anything to do with OSU and much more to do with Alabama.
The 3 main reasons LSU fans want OSU are:
1. We already beat Alabama...Why do they get another shot at us?

There is nothing wrong with wanting the easiest game possible. I'm not going to lie and say that I would want any different if I was an LSU fan, but I probably wouldn't be so outspoken about it.
Some of you are acting like OSU cheerleaders and it's embarrassing imho.

Again, OSU may very well be the easier opponent, but I can guarantee you LSU fans wanting OSU has nothing to do with "easier opponent" and a Ton more to do with not wanting Alabama because we feel we already took care of them.
Getting an "easier opponent" is lagniappe. Most of us simply feel that it's very unfair to LSU to allow Alabama, a rival of ours, yet another opportunity to beat us when they already had one 3 weeks ago.

I just don't see how anyone can argue that Oklahoma State doesn't deserve to play for the title, assuming they beat OU. We will NEVER know if OSU is better than Bama/LSU if we don't give them a shot. We already know LSU is better (even if it's just on the scoreboard) than Alabama. And even if we assume that LSU and Alabama are "equals," the scoreboard is all that matters in the end.
This argument is illogical and self serving. Anti-rematchers are essentially arguing that Alabama's loss to LSU was a "playoff elimination" game while Oklahoma State's loss to Iowa State was not. Think how absurdly illogical that is. A loss to #1 is unforgivable and means you can't possibly be the #2 team while on the other hand a loss to an unranked team teams means you can be #2 because "we don't know how they would do against LSU". Who gives a frick what they MIGHT do against LSU. For the 10 millionth time, determining the #2 team has absolutely nothing to do with LSU. As usual, some LSU fans think it's all about them.

What these redneck douche bags fail to realize, is that if bama won 9-6 they would not even consider a rematch with LSU. Even with the BCS standings today being the same, they would not want to play LSU again, you can take that to the bank!! For the record i want BAMA again, beating them 2 times in one season would give me year long boner!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must understand how much we dislike Alabama and their success.
I grew up watching Alabama dominate LSU...
You steal our old coach from the NFL, you win a MNC and win the heisman in 2009...probably another one this year, you win Rivals recruiting rankings 4 years in a row... you claim 13 NC's etc etc....
We finally beat you in a huge game at your house, you are home resting, practicing, so you can then try to ruin our undefeated season?
You are nuts if you think we want that attempt to be made. You wouldn't want to play LSU if the same scenario was reversed... You would be preaching all the things we have said all week long.
You lost at home! You go to another bowl not named the BCSMNC... You didn't acheive what we did from the same conference going head to head

Yeah, but how is OSU's loss to Iowa State even relevant to LSU/Bama in the context of your point?.....the key here is that LSU is #1. Who can beat LSU?
Alabama had their chance, and didn't win. So why would we give Alabama a SECOND chance at beating LSU before we even give OSU their FIRST chance?
