I was on a rig in the gulf the night of that game. The driller was a Bama fan. He would call out the score after every scoring play. Not my favorite experience

A true arse beating. I’ve never seen a team get just flogged like LSU in that game. In their own state and city was just icing.

Sorry man. That had to be tough. Can't imaging a Clemson fan calling out the scores during 44-16 to me.

I watched the game alone in a bar/restaurant outside of Fort Dix, New Jersey (where I was stationed at the time). Miserable experience. Knew early into the 2nd quarter that CLM was going to lose the game for us with his decision making (or lack thereof). Thought he was playing Bama again in Tuscaloosa. You could tell he had done no meaningful game planning. Completely outcoached by CNS.
