You're right, silly me. I thought a coach's job was to coach?

I always agree with the gus bus and other HUNH supporters in these threads in an effort to show the world that UGA isn't neutral but that we kinda run it too. Then I start thinking about it and realize there is now way we run a HUNH because we get wayyyy too many delay of games. What we run is more like the diet coke of the HUNH. Still, one day we may catch up and actually quick snap after not huddling so until then, preach it mr gus

Yes it is, but it is defense, not offense. The O calls the shots, the D reacts

Oh my god, who gives a shite?

Offenses run trick plays to try and take advantage of D's.

They pump fake to throw CB's off a route

They try and draw defenses offsides

They run play actions

This is normal shite.

Defenses disguise blitzes and stuff too. The whole game is deception and it evolves into different forms of deception over the years. This is just a more recent deception. No big deal.

And to put their team in the best situation to win. If that means pumping sunshine on ESPN or making up bullshite excuses about why a type of O should be outlawed....that. is. a. part. of. their. job.

I think that was Gus' original comment back to Bret but it was edited for tv.

Well then he needs to stop acting like a whiney little bitch girl because people are taking bad about his system. He's earning that "high school" label we gave him.

So why are coaches trying to change the rules to hinder it?

Can you specify the rule changes Nick has asked for or suggested that need to be implemented?

I've heard him ask whether it needs to be looked at and if does effect player safety. But I've yet to hear him state we need to change the rules to "???"

If the D can dictate what the O runs, they win. That is Saban's MO. Have the D take away things from the O.

I agree. I think if coaches are that worried about the HUNH offense they should plan through the week to find the best 11 players that can defend the HUNH while also being able to run different formations with those same 11 while also having select backups ready to go in at a moments notice.

Quit being so obtuse. he has said there needs to be something in place to stop the amount of plays caused by the HUNH. What do you think he is alluding to?

Yup...not make up crap about player safety. Do you really need 15 seconds after a 1st down to get 11 guys on the field?

And BB earned that whiny bitch label everyone gave him. So he can coach his players to defend it or lose to it. Crying isn't helping him.
