What was the purpose of Israel knocking out power in Tehran tonight temporarily. What did they get in or out? Was it a test run?
Trump encouraged people to protest. Iran slaughtered them. Trump told them help was on the way.

Trump felt it was his moral obligation to intervene.

Most of those bases were evacuated before the strikes because they knew they would get hit. They are in range of short range missiles and those missiles and drones can travel from Iran to those bases in seconds

In war both sides fight and both sides lose people and equipment. The goal is to try to destroy more of the other sides than they destroy of yours. When you land planes in Bahrain, Saudi, and Kuwait you know they are in range and there is a high risk to equipment or personnel, but you hope for the best because you need assets there to do the most possible damage to the enemy in the shortest time and to best respond to the risks the enemy presents.

There is an inherent cost to war unfortunately.
Trump said at the end of last week they knew where they all were.
Hopefully they took out Ghalibaf as he was talking from both sides of his mouth and buying time.
The republicans screwed Trump first term and this time.

UAE cancelling residency of Iranian Islamist while the US invites them on over.

When will westerners learn.
Nuclear stuff is not civilian when enriching uranium and threatening to use it in weapons.
They are trying to fix problems Dems and other presidents have longed ignored for fear of criticism.
Trump needs the George HW Bush in the Red Sea to keep the Houthis in check. It should be leaving the east coast in a few days. Some of its support vessels are already headed there.
If so we can always just flatten it with carpet bombing.

I am sure the island is under 24 surveillance.

If the US controls the strait they also control Kharg oil exports because the uS navy can dictate what ships come and go from the Gulf. So you really don’t have to control Kharg so maybe you don’t risk damage to the infrastructure there by invading.

May not want troops around a lot of stuff that goes boom like oil and gas.
If we drop the Airborne at Natanz and Istafan to hunt for Uranium and take their ports to control the oil, then the CIA can distribute weapons and organize a resistance and sabotage campaign from there.
I think they are looking to shutdown Epic Fury and try to hand this off to a broader coalition with a different name to continue the fight under a different name with US involvement and backing. Call it Operation open Seas. I’m wondering if that is why they keep teasing that Epic Fury is winding down while at the same time building up forces for what appears to be a different mission set than an air campaign.

Kinda like Desert Storm and then Desert Shield.
This gives Vance the opportunity to say he met with Iran and attempted to negotiate peace before sending troops and there was no other choice in a presidential debate someday.
Right. They already said they wouldn’t go for a nuke but they refuse to give up uranium enrichment that leaves them one step short of a nuke.
But they are looking at what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan when the US installed a government.

They are hoping a cooperative part of the existing government is more stable than a completely new foreign installed government that the old regime then fights against.
Russia and China do now want the US to take control of Iran's Oil distribution.

They also may want to be careful of US influence on the Caspian Sea.
Anything less than a full surrender is a non starter.

We dam sure should not pay them a penny. They can rebuild with their oil money.
Just makes it clear they must be destroyed at all costs.
Right. I am saying from the 1st inning. Best defensive team on field.
Putting out guys who aren’t defensively sharp hoping for offense is costing us this year.

And that is two errors on Rucker that cost runs late on routine plays.
