Burrow should have gone to a contender. But tripped with Cincy.

They are much quicker and seem to be better shooting than last year.
Hopefully we have more inside toughness and scoring. Last year we only had 1 productive inside player.

re: I wonder if Kelly tested job market and got limited interest

I think he thought PSU or Florida would have interest in signing him to another big contract. Once he found out there was little interest in him by any big name school and definitely not at the same amount left on his LSU contract, he decided he would just retire and have LSU pay the rest of his contract.

A lot of coaches would want a lump sum payout. Then get a new contract and continue to accumulate wins on their lifetime stats or in his case try to win a natty.
But a team able to compete for nattys would have to be willing to take him. He may have found out they are not willing to hire him. He is probably not willing to coach for less than what LSU would pay him not to coach or to take a job a lower perception school due to ego.
Most people wouldn’t be.

Would have made sense to take a lump sum and keep coaching if other good options were available and he wanted to continue coaching.
Either his agent put out feelers to Florida and Penn State etc. and realized there was no market for BK or BK just decided he rather retire and not coach and get paid to do nothing.

Know the health system should encourage people to enter hospice care. Rather than putting them through medical care that does not improve their quality of life.

I am saying we should stop spending billions to extend life weeks or months while the patient lies in the hospital and is known to be terminal.
The only people profiting on this is the medical industry.
They have to stop the fraud of, hey the patient has Medicare/ insurance let’s run up the bill as high as we can over the next few weeks instead of placing the person in hospice where they have a peaceful and dignified death.
There are two systems that rob us blind. Medical industry at the end of life and university system, largely because the money comes from the government and is endless

The problem with medicine and health insurance is that about 80 percent of the cost is at the end of life. Ift may extend life for months or a year but does not increase the quality of a persons life at that age.
We have to stop spending money to extend life a few months where it does not result in an improvement to quality of life.
There is a point where nature has to take its course.

re: LSU star, Flau'jae Johnson trashes Charlie Kirk and tells fans of him to unfollow her

I’m not sure I support a Charlie Kirk statue at LSU because he did not attend LSU.
But I certainly do not support Flaujae saying these types of things against a dead person who was murdered by a transexual while trying to do good in the world and share ideas.
I hope there is a visible push back by the public against Flaujae and sponsors through NIL and by the community and basketball fans, a lot of who m support Charlie. Hopefully, it’s a learning experience for Flaujae to stay clear of politics and issues that divide people when you are trying to represent brands.

If Saban thinks there is politics. On trolling a coaches job, then in his eyes, that is not a good job from a coaches perspective.
Can we go get Will Wade after basketball season?

Didn’t some of laundry’s lawyer buddy’s settle a big oil and gas suit this year?
If so, wouldn’t they have to donate some of that to a non profit for tax purposes?

If B1s were on bomb runs wouldn’t transponders be turned off.
If we were about to bomb someone would Trump be announcing he was going to give a message and tip people off.
Is this just a scare tactic.
