If he had suspended them, he would have looked tough with discipline and had an excuse for the Clemson game.

Sorry, Aubs, I just don't think you have much of a chance. It's a tough way to start a season.

Yea, four guys getting in trouble for pot is a huge deal.

Chilling out smoking a joint shouldn't be against the law for Aubs, and if it is so what, it isn't like it is against the law or anything important. Good Aubie lesson for life...if you as an Aub don't like a law you shouldn't have to mind it.

Personally, I think the entire Aubie team should toke up royally just before the Alabama game. Maybe spend the entire week before the Iron Bowl smoking dope and just chlling. That way they won't feel anything, or even care, when their azz gets beat again.

Clemson is going to pound Auburn into oblivion even with the players missing no time. I think Gus Malzahn should've suspended them all for the 1st half, but it's not my call.

For history's sake, Nick Marshall was suspended a half and John Mincy was suspended a series, IIRC.

For the Bama fans on here... Do you think that Cam Robinson and Jones will miss anytime after being caught with MaryJane and a stolen gun? Of course they will play against USC. In fact Saban has professed his discipline does NOT include loss of playing time and that his goal is to change behavior. (Note: I actually agree with Saban).

Legalize NOW

Hell no, neither will miss time. You don't even miss time at Alabama with a DUI, or multiple DUIs for that matter.

I agree completely. However, even with it legalized, it will still be a violation against NCAA rules.

What weed and what stolen gun? I don't believe any charges were filed so I don't know what you are talking about.

I bet they ran a lot. It was just pot people. Nowhere near the Cam Robinson and Hootie crimes at bama or the what seems like weekly players arrested at UGA.

You need to own that shite. Be proud that your boys got off with less than a slap on the wrist. Cam and Hootie got off and it was fantastic.

Pussy.

It's only a big deal if you have a black HC, because they can label the whole team thugs and talk about taking his job away or how he has lost control of the program.

Saban, Urban Meyer, Freeze, Les Miles, all get a pass from the media.

I got an idea. Let's call a one week moratorium on any racial posts...we need a break from all this crap!

How dare he put his players lives at risk like that. With the prevalence of sickle cell in the population those players are a part of Gus is playing a wreckless game with the very lives of his indentured servants.

All for just a few more wins to save his multi-million dollar a year job.

Where's BLM when there's something that matters?
