It doesn't matter how great Boise State is. And I don't think Gus was having delusions. I'm thinking Gus left Auburn knowing damn well what would happen to Chizik without his offense. Then he knew he could get the job as head coach.

I don't doubt it, he's a smart guy. A lot of us felt the same way.

Yes Porky, let it out. Therapy is how you can move forward and get over your obsession with Gus. Now, tell us where he touched you?

He kissed me on 'my behind'.

FWIW Auburn fans...I hope Gus stays at Auburn for many years.

This sums up the short lived success of Malzahn.

Emotional, destiny, passion.....luck.

Saban didn't lose 5 games in his 2nd season.

Richt needs some luck, 12 years of underachieving has the UGA fan accepting mediocrity. Does that program even want to win a championship, or are they happy beating GT and AU every few years ?

He did lose six in his first though.

What's your point?

Richt has a better win percentage as a college coach than Malzahn. Also, Richt is 9 - 5 against AU (including 7-2 in the last nine), and 12-2 against GT. Don't let the facts mess up your troll though.

Answer: Yes we want to win a championship.

I am sorry to disappoint you with the fact that I am not delusional.

By "every few years"....we are 7-3 against Auby in the last 10.

How many years did Richt beat AU, UF and GT in the same year ?

Richt beat AU & GT in the same year in 7 of his 14 seasons in Athens. Not sure why that's relevant. As was stated, he is 9-5 against AU (including 7-2 in last 9 games) and 12-2 against GT.

I'm sure most teams would be thrilled if their HC had those records against two of their biggest rivals.

His three biggest rivals. UGA Fans have nothing to show for it, because he failed to beat all three the same year. Would bama fans feel the same way with a similar record against UT, LSU and AU ?

I can't imagine passing up a NFL HC job to stay in college. I would strike while the iron is hot.

Some folks are claiming that Glazer is reporting that Gus has accepted the job, but I have not seen that myself.

There is interest between the two parties.

Muschamp will probably become the Auburn head coach.
