To be fair IF anyone is saying that, AU DID just fire a coach 2 seasons after he won a BCSNC
Yeah, ignore the fact that his team was 0-8/3-9 and not competitive in most games.

To be fair, he has been at Auburn for 2 years now. Its time for him to jump somewhere. History repeats itself

I hope so. We'd have a QB depth chart full of Brady's
Don't know if you know this, but one time Loeffler brushed shoulders with Brady while handing him water at Michigan.

You guys are jumping the boat.
Year 1 : Build up season (optional) (2005, 2009)
Year 2 : 10+ win season (2006, 2010, 2013)
Year 3 : Step back season (2007, 2011, 2014)
Year 4 : Implosion and firing (2008, 2012, ?)

He's not going anywhere but I'd take him over some of the other candidates I've seen mentioned.

I'd find a better source if you're going to bring this to our attention.

Nobody cares if you think it is funny. In the end it would be a great story and we all will have been around during the time to watch him go from high school to being an NFL head caoch in a quick time span.
If he got an NFL head coaching gig I would tip my hat to the guy and wish him the best and I hope he would have success in the NFL.
Im not sure why some seem angry. I would look at this as a compliment to the coach.

Because they know he's not committed to their team, he's a job jumper

San Francisco isn't prepared for Kristi.

Oh I'm not saying AU had a lot of choice there. Chizik's performance really kinda forced their hand. Couldn't let that stand. And Chizik had begun to listen to members of his staff that he shouldn't have, which is one of the reasons Gus should be credited for the brilliance of his foresight in leaving.

Wait, so now Gus is a NFL caliber coach? I thought he was terrible. Which is it SEC Rant?

Gus should sell this article to recruits.Come play for a coach that NFL teams believe can be successful. Not for a coach who was a proven failure in the NFL

Didn't think this one through too much, did ya pal? That coach that is a "proven failure in the NFL" can counter with 1) more championships than any two other active coaches combined, 2) more 1st round picks over the pas 5 years than any other coach, and 3) he can tell recruits that every kid who has signed with him since 2008 has been in the national title hunt during his entire college career.

Gus is more successful if you truly do an equal comparison and compare their first two years
Posted on 1/6/15 at 5:38 pm to MrAUTigers
It was Gus's team. At least that's what we were told about 2010...

You got that wrong Ricky, but that is normal for you I see.
