I give credit where its due. Stockton played about as well as he could I think. Your OL dominated the LOS no excuses there.
But we blocked pretty well for the run too and should have leaned on it a lot more than we did. After the INT we got too cute and were thrown for a big loss and ultimately that kept us out of FG range.

That was a perfect storm and if every bounce doesnt fall as it did you lose. Five fumbles go your way the officials go blind and your QB plays the game of his life. You win by 3. You cant count on that kind of luck should you play again
Ground will not be wet next time we may play. We might have our hurt players back too. Refs might call DPI late in the 4th on bama as they should have. Bama got lucky.

The best 2 minute drill is the victory formation when the opponent has 0 timeouts.

Bama fans bragging about uga stopping uga. Priceless.

Why wouldn't you guys feel insecure when your QB had to be damn near perfect for you to win by 3....
While all of the college football world doesn't even rate the win because they say Alabama was cheated multiple times in the game.

He played well, but UGA also left points on the board. Missed a chip-shot FG and had a TD negated with a dumb penalty that resulted in 3 points instead of 7. Cleanup those two self-destructive plays alone and it’s a 10-point win on the road.
There were several other messy plays and penalties that cost or allowed points that could be cleaned up for a rematch, too, so there is a lot to feel positive about as a Dawg fan, and that is not even mentioning the fact that we may get more starters back on offense by then.
I should mention that I’m not trying to play the what-if game here, as you can do that on every play and have a drastically different result, including a possible blowout for Alabama. I’m just saying that it was far from a perfect game for Georgia and they still came out with a road win against one of the very best teams in CFB, so there is room for optimism.

Georgia fans feeling insecure after a night game win in Tuscaloosa?
After our 185 pound running back took off against your dominant run defense?
After our OL protected Gunner to 0 sacks on pass plays?
After our OL had the same number of procedure penalties as your offense in your stadium?
Congrats.
Alabama won the special teams on Saturday.
UGA won the offense and defense.
Smh

Yeah considering this is the 9000th thread started by you guys in some way defending or begging for praise and attention.
Sad
While the entire college football world basically said the game was a robbery so the result shouldn't matter too much.
It's just funny seeing you guys post how perfect your QB was and it took all of that and refs giving you a PI call they wouldn't give us to win by 3.

Those weren’t conversions though….Georgia was 7/13 on 3rd down and Bama was 6/13.
Checking the ball down for a 2 yard gain on 3rd and 9 doesn’t do you much good

A message board with fans posting after a win?
Shocking.
Maybe we should all avoid message boards. What is the fun about responding to losers on a message board?

Congrats on our 4 fumbles and INT and you beating us on special teams.
I am happy with 2 in a row and our defense holding your nfl first round draft picks to 17 points in the second half of the last THREE games.
When Kirby figures out an opposing offensive head coach's playbook, it tends to go this way.

And the interception overturned that was ruled an interception on the field and was as shouldn’t have even been record, let alone overturned.
The targeting on RW that gave him a concussion that would’ve put the ball in Georgia territory.
PI on 3rd and 22 that led to Georgia’s FG that was the difference in the game
The PI at the end gets all the attention, but there were 5 other indisputable plays that were just as bad and had just as big of an effect, but were overshadowed by the PI/takedown at the end of the game.

7/13 on third down is not the same as going 9/10 on completions.
Completing a checkdown on 3rd and 11 for 2 yards is listed as a completion but is not a conversion.
The way you posted that in the OP is VERY misleading.
Bama was 6/13 on 3rd down and 1/1 on 4th and Georgia was 7/13 which is essentially the exact t same thing.
Plus, 3 Georgia conversions were off of penalty

It helps when 3 of the top 6 on the DL don’t play in the game

If Bama can no longer control the refs, this Deboer experiment isn't going to be very popular.

counterpoint:
We won (margin irrelevant) despite our offensive drives starting at:
-our 39
-our 3
-our 7
-our 25
-our 14
-our 25
-our 10
-our 11
-our 7
Imagine how much worse it could've been had we started a drive past our own 40

You know that Saban is so disappointed in this fanbase.
All he ever preached was to not leave the game in the hand of the refs.
Only losers complain after the game about elements outside of their control.
It is ironic how the greatest to ever coach the game leaves and the fanbase melts like snowflakes immediately.

you realize we were playing our 4th, 5th, and 6th string RBs in the game right? And still had success on the ground?
Using the injury excuse from this game in particular is the completely wrong argument to make.

Every team recruits quality at running back.
Running on Alabama with our 4th string running back isn't telling the actual news.
The big story is that our 185 pound running back did most of the damage.
How bad did our OL dominate the trenches to allow a 185 pound running back to get downhill so hard?
Bama lost by 3. No big deal.
A 185 pound running back goes 17 for 120+?
