carson beck was making the same throws in 2023 but the receivers weren't catching them so our fanbase got mad at him for having a fancy car and a hot girlfriend.
Not taking anything away from Gunner, he's elite. But much credit to our receivers this year. Not just 1 or 2 clutch guys, but all of them are making great catches, blocking well, and have the option route concepts down.

There was one throw late in the game on I think our second to last drive before the drive that iced the game where Gunner had a 3rd and long and got immediately pressured on his left hand side, stood in the pocket took the hit and delivered a layered ball over a bama defender who actually got his finger on it just a tiny bit on a deep out route that was insane.
These types of throws are what Gunner struggled with last year and hadn’t really shown the ability to do especially to that level. Where you need to layer the ball over a defender in zone coverage.
Last year he likely throws an Interception if attempts that same pass, it’s one area he has clearly improved his game dramatically.
He played a very clean game but it definitely helped our offensive line played one of the best games as a unit I have ever seen under Kirby. He had clean pockets on almost every drop back and of his 22 throws according to PFF was only forced to throw when under pressure on 3 of them.

Oh I dont know what it was we were doing out there when Georgia had the ball, but that wasnt defense. Give them credit for physical play by their OL
Offensively we did not run enough power and counter. Bama had little success trying to get outside but we should have pounded them staying out of long yardage situations. We got too cute.

You had zero called holds. You cant count on that kind of luck should you play again
Am I doing it right?

That and our WRs made some tough receptions
We weren't supposed to have any quality WRs. Still looking forward to getting our O at full strength. Nice to have 3rd and 4th string TBs who can tote the rock load.

No. I could show a hold on every play.
