Because most of the boosters want that so they are listening. Bama is paranoid of other schools having better facilities so they are constantly throwing money into football. A new basketball arena would change everything.

The one sport thing is working just fine. Every other school in the conference, sans maybe Kentucky, would swap their athletics histories with us in a heartbeat.

I’m not too upset with basketball. We got a good coach in his first year. The team will improve over the next year or so
