You are completely delusional if you think that this deal won’t make every team more money.. about $10 million more by my calculations.. I can show my work if you like.

Texas is the potential partner in the firm that generates big sales numbers, but also might get you sued because they lie to their clients to do so. Is the upside worth the organizational cancer you’re taking on?

The consensus is that we’re moving towards four 16 team conferences. I think the schools you’re referring to (especially UF, USC, UGA) might bet that they can screw us on this one, increase the conference revenue per school, and lock out their in state rivals permanently.

LOL @ GT getting invited back to the conference...

Hah yea, we’ll there’s a reason why UGA was listed last of the three… LSU and Arkansas aren’t worried about in state competition. UK probably should be on the list, but does anyone care about UK in the bigger picture anyway?

It will be a 14-0 vote in principle, but officially a 13-1 vote. Aggie will be permitted to vote No just to save the necks of their leaders.

This is a done deal folks. They are following the same play book as last time when TAMU and Missouri withdrew from their old conference and petitioned for SEC membership.
This doesn’t get to this point without private assurances it will be approved.

I don’t like what it means for college football, but welcome aboard t-sips & land thieves.

Texas is a hard pass no matter what. I’d take almost any of the teams in the East that would make sense regionally. OK doesn’t make sense without Texas but I’d take them with only a little grumbling if Texas wasn’t part of the package.

I’m not scared of Texas. I hate their arrogant fan base, the strong arming tactics they used to control the *big 12, their game day atmosphere and self entitlement.

This.

Plus I hate Matthew McConauGHEY.
