Every call that man has goes right into DeBoer's headset. He checks off on it because it's his offense and it's what he wants to do.
It ain't just a Grubb problem. DeBoer could have Jahmyr Gibbs and Derrick Henry in his backfield and would still opt to do an empty set on 3rd and 1.

I totally agree. We need him replaced. Why can't he call two and three second pass plays. Everything is 15 to 20 yards down the field. Establish flow forst.
