I'm pretty sure when he says they suck as institutions, he's referring to their political ideas

You're wasting your time. Not only are you arguing with an insecure individual that's overly sensitive. He's apart of a fanbase that's insecure and the most sensitive in all of college football.
Go look at his response to you. This is the same guy that runs and complains to staff over people hurting his feelings here. Yet that entire response of his is filled with ban-able type content. It's not his first either

Except when it comes to pulling tarps.

Plus fsu and Clemson want in the sec bad They can want all they want ... it ain't gonna happen.
They will be in the the SEC or Big if the ACC falls apart, it’s inevitable.
What happened 30 years ago is not relevant as to any forthcoming decisions.

Roger that. Looking forward to our game in a few weeks. A win for FSU could set the tone for a great season.

I never had the impression that Sankey pioneered this, he's more of a yes man to Disney/ESPN becoming "the captain now."

Greg Sankey killed the PAC12.

The yankee carpetbagger has also killed the SEC. Bigger isn’t necessarily better and college football is just minor league NFL with free agency!

Some universities place more emphasis on academics than football. UC Berkeley is the #1 public university in the world and Stanford is #5 in the U.S. They don’t need football to be validated. LSU is ranked #176 with an acceptance rate of 75%. College football is not a religion on the West Coast.

I'm pretty sure he has stated TX and OU reached out to him as the preferred of SEC. If he didn't take them they were going BIG.
Exactly. The next phone call would've been to the Big Ten offices if the SEC had said no.

ESPN offered $30 million for TV rights and they said frick you we want $50 million.
worse than that. I was listening to Tim Brando last week on Mosconas show and he said the PAC12 decided to try and build their own TV media package rather than parther with networks and it failed miserably. One of the worst business failures ever.

I wonder if someone from Stanford or Berkeley would be intelligent enough to not come to a site dedicated to football and start bleeding about academics?
You aren't, but they probably are.

And your conference is burning to the ground. Those schools are going to miss that football money or cut down on their women's sports they carry on about so much.

Greg Sankey killed the PAC12.
It was a Russian Roulette / suicide
#1 PCC started it with the cheating scandal that killed the PCC = load 1st bullet
PAC reformed a few years later but did not clean up their act
#2 PAC being B1G's butt buddy with the Rose Bowl after WW II = load 2nd bullet
Rose Bowl stopped repping CFB in favor of just B1G and PAC
#3 Cast their lot with the B1G via NCAA = load 3rd bullet
Walter Beyers 30+ year dictatorship favored B1G and PAC over all others
#4 ESPN was born on the East Coast, not the West Coast = load 4th bullet
In the early days of modern media, basketball was king, not football (Big East)
#5 When CFA formed, PAC sided with B1G, not CFB = load 5th bullet
Only 2 conferences had no CFA reps (B1G and PAC) so they cast their lot
#6 They were a laggard, not a leader in realignment = load 6th bullet
1964 PAC 8 forms || UCB, Stanford, USC, UCLA, UW, WSU, OU, OSU
1978 PAC 10 || adds AZ and ASU
1990 PAC 10 || B1G kicks off realignment with Penn State, PAC adds NONE
2010 PAC 12 || adds Colorado and Utah
Imagine if they had added 2 more teams in the 1990 realignment and gone to 16 in 2010. Say they add Colorado and Utah in 1990 then Air Force + Texas Tech + Oklahoma State + Texas in 2010. SEC gets TAMU, TCU, OU, and MU.

The allaince thing was something that’s everyone laughed at to keep everyone thinking they were okay the big ten had a chance to schedule games vs the pac but instead several schools chose outside …. Think it was like one month after two schools scheduled games vs sec and big 12 lol

OU wasn’t gojng to Pac Stoops told them it was a bad idea and he wanted the sec….
