Pretty solid ballot.

This. I really wanted Suh to win not long ago and same for TM7.
J Peppers last year was a joke a though outside of his returning game.

All previous award winners get to vote. What was L Fournette's vote?

I don’t think Love was in the top 5 RBs, but he is everything that’s right about college football. It would be nice if it migrated more towards guys like him.

He should have his voters status removed.

They either need to change the description of the award or start adding defensive players/players from teams not in the top 10.
This "best offensive player from the best team" nonsense waters down the importance of the award.

And why is that?
Meanwhile, Lisa Horne put Matt Barkley on her ballot over Andrew Luck a few years ago.

He’s among the most qualified of Heisman voters. The vast majority of Heisman voters are local writers for newspapers - including women who never played any sports at all but have a cool journalism degree from a directional school.
I’d say a national championship winning QB, with a short stint in the NFL, and a prime time ESPN analyst with his own show on the SECNetwork is pretty solid.
