Off topic but Finebaum brought up to Greg that one prominent political party head in Alabama told Paul he approached Greg about running for office.
Greg confirmed that both political parties in Alabama have approached him in the past.
I personally think they're readying Greg for Herbstreit's role when that time comes, so doubt he ever pursues political office.

It's worth considering at this point. Freeze can't possibly be on the fans or media hot seat after basically one year, but something is completely off with Freeze's body language and these ridiculous pressers he's putting out about his players. He sounds like a guy who is drowning and panic has set in. That doesn't make any sense to me. What G-Mac is saying could be the messaging Freeze is getting from the big bad boosters down on the Plains.

All BS aside I will fully admit that I don't follow recruiting and all that. I'm 47 and I travel a lot for work and frankly have never been that interested in it. That being said my ignorant arse can see that with the diminishment of line recruiting our typical strong running game has been nonexistent for a while. We have these guys with fancy nicknames that are busts because there are no holes created regularly. I would truly love to know the true story and not the fan-made-up bullshite behind the last 2 coaches.
