Hershel was unstoppable. He should have won the Heisman as a freshman.

Don Hutson basically invented the WR position. He's a solid candidate. But like others have said how do you compare a WR to a LT and so on

Archie Manning and it's not even close.

Without Archie, there would have been no Peyton or Eli either.

As a huge LSU fan and big supporter of TM7, absolutely not. Put together a GREAT GREAT year and a half and then we all know the story.

I was joking. I figured people would know.

Honestly, Rickdaddy, that's not the most ridiculous thing you've ever said. So in your case, I'd advise using emoticons when you expect people to know that your outrageous comment isn't serious.

By barring the legends from being picked you have short handed us all. The correct answer is Cam Newton.

Best I've seen in person is Darren McFadden. He put up some legendary numbers against us.

Just because I say FACTS that you Bama fans don't like , doesn't mean they're ridiculous.

Only if he could have played 2-3 years and done the same, yes. However, the one and done precludes him from all time greatest imo. He had one of the greatest seasons for sure and one of the top 50 or so overall greatest in the SEC.

I knew it was either 23-27. That season he finished 10th in the Heisman voting is one of the greatest defensive seasons in all of AMERICAN FOOTBALL history( any league). He was unstoppable. Reggie White had a better NFL career but not CFB.

Agreed. If he put up those numbers up in any year since Woodson he wins the Heisman with ease
