That was a great freaking football game. Auburn and LSU had some epic battles in the 90's and the 2000's.
Cecil the Deisel running all over us and losing, reminds me of Kenny Irons doing the same thing in 2005 when he ran wild for 200+ and we still lost that game in Baton Rouge.

That was one of the greatest games ive ever been to even though we lost. I hated D. Craig for that last drive but I have to love him now!

Archie Manning vs Alabama 1969. First prime time nationally televised college game. 540 total yards. First time any player had thrown for 300+ and rushed for 100+ in a game.
ETA. Took a long time for this record to be broken, Manziel did it.

Great as far as the stat line goes but not as great in the game. He basically got 100 of those yards on one catch which diminishes his impact on that game throughout the entire game.
HE was awesome and those stats are good but as far as the "Greatest Individual Performance", I dont think so

3 huge games from Ole Miss players.
Arnold "Showboat" Boykin OM - 1951 against MSU
14 carries 187 yards 7 tds!!!!
Dexter McCluster OM - 2009 against Tennesee
25 carries 282 yards 4 tds
4 catches 42 yards
Archie Manning 1969 vs Alabama in the nation's first prime time college football game
Threw for 436 yards and 2 tds and ran 15 times for 104 yards and 3 tds. Considering it was in 1969 and he put those numbers up in primetime against Bama is pretty amazing.

Edit:
"With just under four minutes to play in the fourth quarter, as the clock approaches midnight, Alabama trails 32-27. Facing fourth-and-goal on the Ole Miss 14-yard line, Hunter calls timeout. He jogs to the sideline, where Bear Bryant is puffing furiously on a Chesterfield cigarette, its red-orange ember glowing in the night. "What do you want to do?" Hunter asks his coach.
There is confusion on the Alabama sideline. The coaches in the press box are still trying to determine the play call when the referee yells to Bryant, "The commercial is over. It's time to play ball."
Bryant, his Chesterfield dangling from his mouth, pushes Hunter onto the field. Then he yells to his quarterback, "Run the best you got!"
In the huddle Hunter shouted to his teammates, "Fire Red Right, Max Protect, 56 Comeback In." Hunter expected a blitz and so the play call instructed halfback Johnny Musso to stay in the backfield as a blocker. "56 Comeback In" meant Hunter would try to hit wide receiver George Ranager on a comeback pattern in the middle of the field.
It worked beautifully: The Rebels blitzed a linebacker, who was stopped in his tracks by Musso. Hunter threw a strike to Ranager for the winning touchdown. He finished 22-of-29 for 300 yards and one touchdown. It was Hunter's finest hour as Alabama's starting quarterback."

The greatest performance in SEC history is a pretty easy one to answer
Brandon Avalos, 2003 vs Southern Mississippi (17-3 W)
3-7, 12 yards

Better than #3
Darren McFadden set the Southeastern Conference single-game rushing record with 323 yards on 35 carries. The previous record was 321 yards by Vanderbilt's Frank Mordica against Air Force in 1978.
Same game as you gave honorable mention, but it should be above that Bo game

I'm not entirely surprised by the number of South Carolina mentions in this thread.
Even in my four years as a student we typically gave unqualified opponents career games and made average/bad teams look like world beaters.
I thought that was a recent phenomenon but apparently we have a history of generosity.

Want to talk about an offensive show on both sides of the field, Tennessee's 59-31 win over Kentucky in 1997.
Peyton Manning (senior) was 25 of 35 for 523 yards and 5 TD
Jamal Lewis (freshman) rushed 21 times for 128 yards with 3 TD, and scored on a 50-yard pass
Marcus Nash had 7 receptions for 195 yards and 3 TD
In that same game for UK, Tim Couch (junior) was 35 of 50 for 476 with 2 TD and 3 INT
