Oats nicely managed and timed his arrival at AL and kinda caught everyone off guard. Bruce started making his adjustment last year to the NIL/Portal recruiting world and we were much improved. This year he is finally kicking average players to the curb and bringing in reinforcements.

The SEC will have to go through Auburn next year.

paperwasp - where was that establishment?

It was the old Tide & Tiger bar on Graymont Avenue, just outside of Legion Field.

The hey-day of the Tide & Tiger was undoubtedly before the 1990s when the Alabama Crimson TIde and Auburn Tigers played many home games at Legion Field and met for the annual Iron Bowl.

Alabama and Auburn are both going to be preseason top 10 next year. Both (along with Tennessee) are clearly the best programs in the league the last 5 years.

I enjoy watching Auburn lose to Yale and all that but it's pretty cool that the conference and national media landscape of the league runs through both of us.

Bruce Pearl and Nate Oats have built both teams to a point where making the tournament is an afterthought instead of an accomplishment. They've done a remarkable job.

I see no lies.

We’ll see if the sport has staying power after Bruce retires. If they give it to his son, AU basketball could be a 1 hit wonder and sink back to the bottom of the SEC.

The sport will remain. Most of us remember Auburn hoops before Bruce Pearl was hired. We watched then, we watch now and we will watch/attend after Bruce Pearl is gone - even though the Gumps don’t and won’t admit it.

Swept? You couldn't sweep Us
Last season, what makes you think you can this year? If Sears
Returns, Auburn fricked.

Just browsing this thread today, your week long melt has been pretty impressive, and your predictions will probably go about as well as Broome's did.

Friendly 2 week ban bet that Auburn at least splits? Do it.

Coach (Pearl) has been saying recently it's time to get hot," Broome said. "It's time to make a run. We don't plan on losing no more. We got two more games until the SEC Tournament and then we got March Madness so we don't want to lose any more games."

Auburn returns to action on Tuesday when it takes on the Missouri Tigers on the road at 8 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.

It looks like that was just a phrase they used the whole month of March. Wow you are an idiot.

We got something for Broome's arse this time around. He wont party in the paint against Bama any more. He'll have to play against a true 5 not a stretch 4 or a role player.

Johnni won't like it when some of that stuff gets sent back where it came from.

It was in black and white on March 2nd while still in the regular season. Long enough of a strerch for Bama to collect 4 more Ls.
