We’re a year and a half since saban retired and the fanbase already is calling for the coach to be fired.

What a time.

Took about that long after Burr Brunt left too.

My God who the hell would ever want to coach at Bama.

I would. I'll even go easy on the buy-out. 5 mil would work.

The problem with the FSU game was that Alabama underestimated the opponent.

If we are still underestimating opponents after 3 unranked ones destroyed us last year, that's on the coaches.

Wait too long to replace a coach, 5 years gone, hire someone that turns out to be a better coordinator than HC, 5 years gone, hire the next big thing, flop, 5 years gone…

Then all of a sudden you find yourself getting trashed by everyone…

HAHAHA!! (pick your favorite rival) hasn’t won shite in almost twenty years!!!

When it goes to shite, it goes quick.

I agree with this sentiment completely.

Anyone with eyes can see he won't be good there. He's got a stacked roster too but not for much longer.

I wanted Pruitt fired and Dooley both fired early into the second season games and was banned from Volation for saying it.

There's absolutely no sense in wasting time on a bad coaching fit.

The major coaching failure was with the quarterback. He has great potential but looked unprepared for the FSU defense yesterday.

For something that is so easy, take away 2 coaches and Bama is less than ordinary.

Every coach good enough to coach at the high levels of D1 thinks they’re good enough to succeed there.

So almost all of them.

Why wait? Fire him now. Get it over with. FSU’s 31-17 beat down was just preamble of more horrors to come.

Easy to say when it’s not your money paying the buyout.

You say the dumbest things.

Take away 2 coaches from LSU and you would have 2 titles in 120+ years.

I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere, but what's his/staffs buyout terms like??

I get money isn't an issue, but unless you have someone in .ind that can get the job done to step in, not called Saban, its burning money since the next guys will be worse, then paying him off in a couple of years. Rinse...repeat.

Not defending the Gumps at all, but DeBoer wasn't exactly a panic hire. The fact is he was at the top of the (realistic) wishlist of everyone needing a coach the year Saban hung it up.

I never was on the bandwagon of Bama continuing to roll like Saban never left, but I am surprised DeBoer hasn't put together a better squad. Last year he had either Milroe or dog poo behind center, but now they've had an entire off season to find a QB and he chose Simpson? Idk man..the tide may be in for a world of hurt now they can't even count on their defense.

Difference is, no one is saying "winning at LSU is easy".

Edit to say: we could have more, but unlike Bama, we do not retroactively claim shite.
