Ggs, damn good series on both sides.

Close and exciting. Pitching was great. Hitting and fielding left a lot to be desired; both teams need to step it up considerably in those areas or it will be a quick post-season for both.

I’d say y’all have a lot less issues to get right than we do. LSU is very much an Omaha caliber team this year, just gotta get a few things cleaned up

You may be right; LSU certainly is in a better position entering the post-season. But LSU simply has been anemic at the plate for about a month now, which is concerning.. And right now LSU has 4 pitchers that have been consistently good. No one else has been able to consistently put together solid appearances pretty much all year. Even for a team that's likely a national seed, its more than a little concerning.

Damn solid. I had little confidence with each at bat. That kid in game 2 had his way. Toyed with us.

A&M is the biggest question mark entering the post-season. I think they may be playing better than anyone right now (looked to me like they were pressing to much against Texas). But they have some serious holes as well.

LSU/ARK are both dangerous if they put it all together.

Anyone who gets Florida or A&M in their Regional should be a little worried. Also, MSU seems to be playing at a different level right now as well.

Yalls pitching staff looks pretty damn good from the outside looking in. And yall have good hitters, just going through a bit of a cold streak. Even Curriel struggled badly this weekend which is very rare for him. Once those bats come alive yall have the potential to go a long ways

ARK and LSU are definitely the most complete. ARK is another level with Wood back. However, LSU pitching is solid for both a Regional and SR. LSU is deep, just a little bit of a slump at the plate

When you get incredible starting pitching performances from Anderson and Eyanson it tends to hide the depth problems on your staff. But you can’t expect that every start. No third starter has even remotely taken that spot, which is why they have gone with Evans the last two weeks. Unfortunately that leaves Cowan alone in the bullpen, who has been brilliant until this weekend. There are definitely plus arms throughout the staff, but throwing strikes has been elusive for pretty much all of them for the most part. If they can just get two to step up, this team is capable of a deep run. Fortunately, if they don’t crater these last two weeks they should be playing at the Box for regional and super regional weekend. That will help.

If LSU gets to Omaha, they can ride those two a long way, if they stay in the winner's bracket. I can't think of a 2 seed that would give you problems in a Baton Rouge regional, which is where the pitching depth question could flare up. What you ran out against us on Sunday should be good enough at home in a super regional against a team ranked 9 or lower, and that's assuming your opponent can steal one of the first two.

Good series Ags

Some LSU fans are bitching, but they're either trolling you or they're insecure about their own team.

Me, I'm just glad we're above 500 in conference. It's such a fricking warzone in conference play this year, with the exceptions of Texas, Missouri and South Carolina. And Texas' record is a bit misleading too... as I recall they swept Aggie at home, but those were all 1 run games. A couple plays in that series, and the Horns could be coming off 2 series losses in a row, and back level with Arkansas.
