Tapped out? What a dumbass you are, I'd pay to see a pussy like you stay on the field with both ankles injured and do anything other than hate life.
Coach had to pull him for a spark.

quote:Not that I think the entirety of the last twenty years has much bearing on this year, but yes, even by that logic you are wrong. In the last twenty years, OU has been in the top four for three of the five playoffs, had four heisman trophy winners, a National Championship, two further BCSCG appearances, consistently recruits the shite out of Texas, and has one of the highest winning percentages of all FBS teams in that span. Does that not put a team in the "super" tent by your logic?
Oklahoma hasn't won an NC in almost 20 years. Super team my arse.

I can’t speak for him but no. Alabama is on a different level than anything we’ve ever seen. There’s a difference between signing with a good team and program and going to the 73 win Warriors.

Just like Dabo did against Syracuse, right?

well, your opinion is irrelevant and not all voters disagreed.
Either way, it would have been pretty cool for him to have won it, but I'm sure Tua, like all Bama fans, would rather have the trophy in Jan. Having seen players from Bama win the Heisman and also witnessed Bama win the natty, I promise the natties were much more enjoyable.

Watson beat them 54-0 that year.

Alabama is a super team. Like Golden State. OU is not in their category.

I thought the topic was about Heisman finalists getting replaced during a game?

Winning championships is the easiest measuring stick. OU hasn't been elite in a while.

That’s a whole hell of a lot of disappintment.

If a team consistently wins enough to routinely rack up conference titles, be considered a top four team on a persistent basis, and just as frequently has heisman finalists, you can't tell me they aren't at least close to being within the realm of the most successful teams in CFB.

To paraphrase former NFL owner Art Modell, “College football fans are a bunch of Republicans who want socialism in NCAA football.”

Tri City has successfully triggered the Alabama fan base. LSU and Auburn should be both proud, and start taking notes.
Those 56k connections for most bama fans (in their trailers) probably won’t allow them to post much tonight. But there will be many posts in the morning Tri.

Has a Heisman trophy winner ever been apart of a team that wasn’t good, though?
