Hopefully we get a round 3 in Nashville. Fun thing we got going in this sport right now.

The fouls made it a terrible watch but I’ll take the win all day.

It was better than 49-37, that's for sure

Good game. Two good teams.

I think the chances of a rematch in Nashville are highly probable.

It did feel like its been forever that both were among the better teams, as opposed to the past few years.

We defended the 3 a lot better tonight.

Bama is scary as hell from the arc.

Thanks SOG.

Refs made a fun game much less fun.

See you in the tourney.

We're a good team but we have some fatal flaws that the wrong matchup can crush us. Auburn has the pieces to exploit those with Broome on offense and their length on defense. They did it to perfection tonight.

There aren't that many great offensive bigs in basketball these days but it feels like we've played all of them this year - Eddey, big Creighton kid, Hall from Clemson, Broome. They've all worn us out. We just don't have the personnel.

Mark Sears is dangerous. He puts a lot of stress on the defense, and me watching.

I mean it really couldn't be any better. Both perennial top 25/tournament teams, both play fun as hell styles, both coaches are characters who poke fun at each other but also clearly like one another.

It's good shite.

I mean if you'd asked me to predict a game score at 445 pm today I probably would have said Auburn 89 - Bama 75 or something so it went about as expected

Bama can definitely make a run this year but they might have to get creative defensively against bully ball teams. Just felt like yall had no chance to get stops tonight in key possessions

Any run we make will have to be based off of getting good matchups. We just don't have an answer for teams with an athletic big who has a good offensive game down low. We have found ways to scheme around quicker teams or teams with plodding bigs, but Pringle and Wague just can't guard guys like Broome without fouling.

Chuck leaving and Clowney exploding into a 1 and done really put a hole in the roster for this year. Relying on Grant to play well outside his weight class on defense.

Yeah if yall had Bediako or Clowney this year you guys would probably be right up there with Houston or Purdue as the betting favorites to win it all.

Would be more similar to last year for sure. Different - more consistent shooting, less explosive playmakers - but certainly a higher ceiling. This team just has some unfixable flaws that certain matchups are just gonna make nearly unwinnable outside of heroic shooting nights.

The only saving grace is that athletic, polished bigs are not all over the map. But it does feel like we've played all of them except Bacot
