I just figured Grand National was the pinnacle of the Auburn/Opelika golf community.
No way. Moores Mill Country Club is probably the best one out of them all.

That makes more sense. Traditions is awesome. I was wondering where all the green grass came from in that picture

That picture is of Traditions Golf Club (where our golf team plays.)
Same for LSU's. That is a picture of The University Club. Campus course is much more on par with A&Ms.

Georgia's and Vandy's look pretty awesome.

I was unaware that your golf teams played on non-campus golf courses. I understand Vandy's is half an hour from there, but it's still advertised as the Vanderbilt Legends Club. UGA plays on the "University of Georgia Golf Course" pictured in the OP. I'm sure Florida plays on their "UF" golf course that's named something else. Could be wrong though.

Gotcha
Apparently we are one of the very few in the SEC that actually play on our campus course?

I disagree with my fellow AU fans... I think Grand National (particularly the Lakes course) is nicer than Moore's Mill, Saugahatchee (sp?), and the AU club.

I didn't like pic selected for the team that finished the in the highest place of all the SECe teams in the recent SEC Tournament...USC.
So here are some better pics.

Mississippi State also plays matches at Old Waverly, which is as nice as it gets in the state. They used to host a LPGA event there. I think they still do. It's a sick course. It's only about 15 min away from starkville in West Point.

I bet Vandy's course is even better during peak color change. That's my favorite time of year to hike up in the hills here.

That's a better pic of Cobblestone Ridge in Blythewood for USC. Don't know anything about golf, but do know that we used to claim (and still do, to an extent cos of Darla Moore) Augusta National as "our" course under Hootie Johnson.

Yep the official VU club site is down in Franklin. Beautiful course, but it is a hike from campus. Unofficially Vandy is sometimes able to use the Bell Meade CC which is about 5-10 minutes away from campus. Very prestigious club with a good course. Liked it better before the redesign and the million bunkers they added, but it is still really nice.

Bama used to have an on campus (really slightly off campus, but is was run by the University) course until about 2004 or so. Only played there a handful of times and it wasn't in great shape. Ol' colony though is a nice course out in Northport

The Arkansas golf course is one of the most difficult there is. It was rated with a 79.

i'm surprised you thought that. I would assume that is the exception, not the norm (meaning most schools probably do not play on campus). U Club in BR is about 10 minutes from campus.

But yea, I just assumed so since we did.

Vandys course looks gorgeous.
I haven't got to play this year yet.
Two kids playing baseball and with practice I'm usually at the fields or batting cages six days a week.
