He was impressive right up until the point he started talking about all of the “head coaching bullshite” he doesn’t want to deal with.

He's talking about the garbage of the job. He wants to focus on coaching and likes to delegate the administrative "bullshite" to others.

I think that's a good thing.

Sounds more like he can't handle the pressure of being a head coach..

I mean. I’m extremely appreciative of his honesty. This is kind of wild.

Every coach feels the same way. Even Lane.

I can tell you've never ran a business or a department in a big business.

He made a damn good point on the "no contact" tag for the portal.

It also highlights the hypocrisy of the NCAA.

Right, so a head football coach of a major division 1 school solely focuses on coaching, and has 0 administrative work to do, or follow up on? Taking a job, then bitching about tasks that come with that job is wild.

Are you sure you didn't eat paint chips as a kid?

He didn't bitch. He just said that he handed the bullshite to others to do. That's called "delegation." Your boy, Lane, delegated the same stuff to the same people, my friend.

I can objectively say that was one of the crazier head coaching media days I’ve ever seen, while also being one of the most insightful. Golding is going to tell it like it is. I respect that, but it’s ok to acknowledge that there are ways to be more subtle about it.

We all understand that coaches hate the extra shite they have to deal with in today’s cfb. I guess good for Pete for coming out and saying he hates it.
