It's interesting to see people call something imaginary when they don't know and have absolutely no qualifications to say.

verse of the day on verseoftheday.com

Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.
—Psalm 86:6-7

that website nails it for me every time I look at it, and I'm stupid for going days without looking at it

Mullens, one blessing from this thread is that someone who's not a believer can give a few moments to at least reconsider their stance. How could life have popped into existence by itself? It couldn't. That will make some people mad, but I guess they have to get mad first before they finally realize the truth

some of my wordless groans along with my wordy groans here are more than five minutes for you - I love real people and you're real people. I grew up in a church where men lit up a cigarette outside right after the service and no one judged them, or if they did they kept it quiet. That's not to say their wives didn't yell at them across the parking lot to "put that nasty thing out!" Not healthy, but they were all good men. I later smoked, started after college, partying in Nashville and Atlanta, but quit 7/8 years ago, thank God

To anyone who quits, you might feel some piercing pains in your chest for the next few years. I guess it's your lungs healing? I don't know. Just little piercing pain every once in a while

Love you Mullens

I'm lifting you and your family up in prayer brother. I pray the Lord's hands guide your surgeons', also pray He would give you a peace that goes beyond our human understanding. I also pray that You know Jesus as Your Lord and Savior. Let us know how you're doing once you're out of surgical recovery and feel like talking to us. I look forward to hear how your recovery is going.

God has hot this, He is the great physician.....physically and most of all Spiritually

I've never seen atheists get pissed off when the Beatles visited the Hindu's in India, and George Harrison sang Hare Krishna, and many Hollywood people avowed allegiance to Confucius

I wonder why that is?

btw I love some Confucius reading, and I'm a Christian. I'd imagine CS Lewis didn't mind pouring a big brown beer and reading Confucius

Can I ask you…do you know Christ? Have you heard and believed the Gospel?

The gospel proclaims that all people everywhere and throughout all time have sinned and rebelled against God our Creator and stand justly condemned under his holy judgment; but God graciously saves sinners through his Son Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death on the cross as a substitute for sinners, and was raised from the dead, so that all who repent of their wickedness and trust in him alone receive full forgiveness of sins and eternal life through him.

God bless you brother. Hope you can recover.

Don't worry with these deathbed conversion pimps. There is nothing that needs saving. You are perfect as you are and there is nothing in your life that you did that was ever wrong. God bless brother.

First and foremost, we are brothers in Christ, and all of the silliness that goes on between rivals means nothing when a brother asks for prayers. You can count on me lifting you up to our Heavenly Father throughout your surgery and beyond. Prayers for your anesthesiologist and surgeon as well.
P.S. I lost my wife about the same time as you, so you and I belong to a fraternity that no one should ever want to join.

Prayers for you fellow Dawg and State alumnus. I hope and pray that the surgery is successful. With God, nothing is impossible. Though it appears your condition is bleak we know the Great Healer (Jesus Christ) can heal you through the efforts of your Doctors, Nurses, family and friends.
